How it Works
The Goal Zero Tank PRO 4000 must be used with a Yeti PRO 4000. Together,
they increase your energy storage capacity. The Tank PRO 4000 is a chainable
4000Wh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery that adds an additional 4000-Watt hours
to your home, RV, or off-grid storage system. Once the Tank is connected to
the Yeti and the stabilization period is complete, the power will be sourced

Using Your Product
Power On/Off
Press the power button on the Yeti PRO 4000. Move the power switch on the Tank
PRO 4000 into the ON position. The LED Battery lights on the front face of the
device will be illuminated when powered.
Charging the Tank PRO 4000
The Tank PRO 4000 will charge when it is hooked up to the Yeti PRO 4000,
either through electrical grid power or solar, depending on what you’re using
to charge the Yeti PRO 4000. When you connect one or more Tank PRO 4000
expansion batteries to a Yeti PRO, the Tanks and Yeti will first equalize.
While the units are equalizing, the Yeti display will show charge state of the
unit with the highest charge. Once equalization has finished, the units will
all function as one battery and the charge state shown on the display will
reflect the charge of the entire power stack.
Storage and Maintenance
Store your Tank PRO 4000 in a climate-controlled, dry location. Be sure to
turn the power switch off before storing. If you can’t keep your expansion
battery plugged into a power source during storage, charge the unit once every
12-18 months. Failure to maintain your Tank PRO 4000 by following these steps
can result in battery damage which will void the product warranty.
