Product Usage Instructions

  1. Power Up:
    • Insert 2-AA batteries into the Outdoor Sensor.
    • Insert the 5-volt power cord into an outlet, then into the Projection Clock. Optionally, insert 2 AAA batteries for backup.
    • Set the time, date, and other settings as desired.
    • Place the sensor outside in a shaded location once it is reading to your clock. Refer to the sensor mounting video for guidance.
  2. Settings Menu:
    • Press the MENU button to access the settings menu.
    • Use the +/TEMP or -/TIME buttons to adjust the values.
    • Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button at any time to save and exit.
  3. Fahrenheit or Celsius:
    • Use the +/TEMP button to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  4. Backlight & Projection Intensity:
    • Press the BACKLIGHT button to activate the backlight and projection for 10 seconds.
  5. Projection Rotation:
    • Hold the PROJECTION button to select what to project.
    • Release the PROJECTION button when the desired setting is displayed.
  6. Time Alarm:
    • Set the desired alarm time using the alarm settings menu.
  7. Outdoor Temperature:
    • If dashes are displayed for the outdoor temperature readings, follow these steps:
    • Hold the +/TEMP button to search for the outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will animate.
    • If the sensor is still not connected after 3 minutes, bring it inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
    • Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
    • Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, and then into your clock.

Power Up

  1. Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
  2. Insert the 5 volt power cord into an outlet, then into your Projection Clock. Optional: Insert 2 AAA batteries for backup.
  3. Set time, date, etc.

Atomic Time

  • The Atomic Time Signal icon will flash while searching, and be solid when connected.
  • Hold the -/TIME button anytime, to manually search for the Atomic Time Signal.
  • The backlight and USB charging port will momentarily turn off while the clock searches for the atomic signal.

Settings Menu

IMPORTANT: Only press or hold one button at a time.

  1. Hold the SET/°F/°C button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
  2. Press and release the +/TEMP or -/TIME buttons to adjust values.
  3. Press and release the SET/°F/°C to confirm values.
  4. Press and release the SNOOZE/LIGHT button at any time to save and exit.

Settings Menu Order:

  • WWVB Atomic Time (ON/OFF)
  • Time Zone
  • DST Daylight Saving Time (ON/OFF)
  • 12/24 Hour Time Format
  • Hour
  • Minutes
  • Year
  • Month
  • Date
  • WWVB OFF: When WWVB OFF is selected, you will move directly to the 12/24 Hour Time setting.
  • Weekday: Will set automatically when your Year, Month, and Date are set.

Fahrenheit or Celsius

  • Press and release the SET/°F/°C button to select between a Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature display.

Backlight & Projection Intensity

  • Press and release the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to adjust both the backlight and projection intensity to HIGH / LOW / OFF.
  • The power cord is required for constant backlight and projection.
  • If operating on battery power only, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the backlight and projection for 10 seconds.

Projection Rotation

  • Press the PROJECTION button to rotate the projection image in 90-degree increments.

Projection Selection

  1. Hold the PROJECTION button to select what to project.
  2. Watch the projection image to view changes, and release the PROJECTION button when on the desired setting.

Projection Options:

  • Time/Outdoor Temp: Alternates every 5 seconds (default)
  • Time only
  • Outdoor Temperature only

Time Alarm

Set Alarm:

  1. Hold the ALARM button to enter the Alarm Settings Menu.
  2. Use the +/TEMP or -/TIME buttons to adjust the flashing values.
  3. Press the ALARM button to confirm and move forward.

Activate/Deactivate Alarm:
Press the ALARM button to view alarm time. Press and release again to activate or deactivate the alarm. The Alarm Icon will show only when the alarm is active.

Silence alarm for 24 hours:
When the alarm sounds press and release the ALARM button to silence the alarm for 24 hours. Alarm Icon will remain.

Snooze:
When the alarm sounds press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to silence the alarm for 9 minutes. Zz will show.

Charging Port

Connect your device’s USB charging cable (not included) to the 1 Amp USB Charging Port on the back of the clock.

  • Charge 1A devices or those that are self-regulating
  • 1A maximum current | Charging times will vary

Temperature Trend Arrows

Both the Indoor and Outdoor Temperatures have Trend Arrows to indicate temperature changes (2°F / 1°C) over the past one-hour period.

  • The temperature has risen over the past one hour.
  • The temperature has been steady over the past one hour.
  • The temperature has fallen over the past one hour.

Low Battery

  • When the Battery Icon appears in the Outdoor Temperature section, replace the batteries in your Outdoor Sensor.
  • When the Battery Icon appears in the Indoor Temperature section, replace the batteries in your Projection Alarm Clock.

Outdoor Temperature

If you are seeing dashes for your outdoor readings, please try these steps:

  1. Hold the +/TEMP button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
  2. If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
  3. Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sitting for a few moments with the power off.
  4. Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, and then into your clock. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart.

Care & Maintenance

Battery Replacement Instructions
When batteries of different brands or types are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference in voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.

  • Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
  • Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove batteries from the product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
