PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpacking And Set Up

Remove the radio from the carton and remove all packing material from the radio. Save the packing material, if possible, in case the radio ever needs to be serviced or transported. The original carton and packing material is the only safe way to pack your radio to protect it from damage in transit

Remove any descriptive labels or stickers on the front or top of the cabinet.
Do not remove any labels or stickers from the back or bottom of the cabinet. -
Note the serial number on the bottom of your radio and write this number in the space provided on the Warranty page of this manual.

Place your radio on a level surface such as a table, desk or shelf, convenient t0 an AC outlet, out of direct sunlight, and away from sources of excess heal, dirt, dust, moisture, humidity, or vibration.

Unwind the Line cord connecting the AC adapter and extend it to its full length. The FM antenna is built in to this cord. It must be fully extended to provide the best FM reception.
Protect Your Furniture
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber feet to prevent the product
from moving when you operate the controls. These ‘feet’ are made from
nonmigrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid leaving any marks
or stains on your furniture. However certain types of oil based furiture
polishes, wood preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber feet to
soften, and leave marks o a rubber residue on the furniture. To prevent any
damage to your fumiture we strongly recommend that you purchase smal seff-
adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers
everywhere, and apply these pads (o the bottom of the rubber ‘feet’ before you
place the product on fine wooden furniture.
Power Source
“This radio is designed to operate on normal AC Power Source.For North
America, it works only under 120V 60Hz. For Europe, it works only under 220V-
240V.Do not attempt to operate the radio on any other power source. You could
cause damage to the radio that is not covered by your warranty. This radio
should be connected to an AC outlet that is always ‘live’. Do not connect it
to an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch. When the power to the radio
is interrupted, the builtin lithium battery takes over to maintain the time
and alarm settings. To maximize the lfe of the lithium battery keep the radio
connected to a ‘ive’ AC outlet at all times

OPERATING THE UNIT
Before using your product, read all accompanying safety information!
- When AC Power Adapter plug into the AC Outlet, Time will be displayed and set automatically.
- Press “ ****/ MODE” bution to tum ON the clock
- Press “ ****/IMODE” button again to switch the functions: Radio, Bluetooth (BT).
- FM/BT/OFF press
Note: For North America, it is default to Eastern Time Zone (New York
Time)
Note: For UK, itis defaut to UK Time Zone (London Time)
Note: For Europe, itis default to German Time Zone(Berlin Time)
Note: For Australia, it is default to Australia Time Zone Canberra)
Note: For Mexico,it is defaul to Mexico time zone(Mexico Gity)
Note: For Japan, it is default to Japan time zone(Tokyo)
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME SETTING
This clock was preseted Auto DST(Daylight Saving Time) for different countries
as below:

- When the product is set to RESET(factory setting), the DST needs to be RESET. Daylight Saving Time Settings can be set in “Time Settings” and can only be used after reset, in the order of hour, minute, year,month, day, 12/24 hours, and DST.
- You can also set the DST time by long pressing “▲” until the DST stands for the letter (OFF/EU/US/ EN /AU/ CO /JP) flashing, and then short pressing the “▲” button to switch to your local DST.(OFF means to close Daylight Saving Time; EU stands for Europe; US stands for the United States; EN stands for United Kingdom; AU stands for Australia; CO for Mexico; JP stands for Japan).
SETTING THE TIME
(Tum OFF the clock before setting the time)

- Press and Hold the “SET” button until the “HOUR”segment will blink.
- Press “ ▼ ” or“ ▲ ” to adjust the hour.
- Press “SET” again, “MINUTE” segment will blink.
- Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” to adjust the minute.
- Press “SET” again, “YEAR” segment will blink.
- Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” to adjust the year.
- Press “SET” again, “MONTH” segment will blink.
- Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” to adjust the month.
- Press “SET” again, “DATE” segment will blink.
- Press “ ▼ ” or‘ ▲ ’to adjust the day.
- Press”SET”again, “24H”/”12H”will blink.
- Press“ ▼ ’or‘ ▲ ’to 12H/24H.
- Press “SET” key to confirm, or wait for 40 seconds to confirm automatically and return to clock mode.
SETTING THE ALARM
(Turn OFF the clock before setting the Alarm)
Your clock radio had two separate alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2) that can be set
and used independently. Please ensure that you have set the wake up time and
alarm mode correctly.
Setting the Wake up Alarm
-
Press “AL1/V-” button repeatedly to select your wake up mode:
“ ” signs ON means Alarm 1 Wake to Buzzer is ON
“ ” signs ON means Alarm 1 Wake to Radio is ON
Both signs disappeared means Alarm 1 is completely turned OFF.
After you had selected the desired wake up mode, -
Press and hold the “AL1/V-” button for 2 seconds, the “Hour” of wake up time will blink.

Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” button to adjust the Hour.

Press “AL1/V-” button again, the “Minute” of wake up time will blink.
-
Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” button to adjust the Minute .

Press “SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP” button to select the alarm day mode:
Everyday (Monday to Sunday)
Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
single day (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, Saturday/Sunday) -
After you had set the wake up time and day, press the “AL1/V-” button. again, the current volume level will blink.
-
Press “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” button to adjust your desire alarm volume level.
-
Press “AL1/V-” to finish the alarm setting, or wait for 40 seconds.
-
When Alarm goes off, press “AL1/V-” or “ ****/MODE” button to turn off the wake up alarm.
Please follow the above steps for setting the Alarm 2 (by pressing AL2/V+).
Gradually Increase Wake up Volume: When alarm goes off, it will begin with
minimum level and will gradually increase to your setting alarm volume level.
SNOOZE/REPEAT/STOP THE ALARM

When the alarm goes off, you can press “Zzz” to delay the alarm for another 9 minutes. 9-minute delay can be repeated within 60 minutes
-
Whenever the alarm goes off,you can press either “ ****/MODE”, “AL1/V-” or “AL2/V+” button to turn OFF the alarm (AL1 for Alarm 1 and AL2 for Alarm 2).
But it will repeat from next time or day. -
If you want to completely turn OFF the setting alarm, you have to press either “AL1/V-” or “AL2/V+’” until all the alarm signs OFF from the display.
LISTEN TO THE RADIO
Keep the clock radio away from other electronic devices to avoid radio interference. For better reception, adjust the position of the AC adapter cable.
- Press the “ ****/MODE” button to turn ON the clock
- Press “ ****/MODE” button again to switch the function mode to Radio, last setting radio station with MHz will be displayed on the screen
- Press either “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” to adjust the radio frequency.
- Press and hold either “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” until the clock search the stations itself, release the button then the clock will look for next radio station and stop.
- Keep pressing “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” will speed up the searching but it will not stop until you released the button.
- When you set and listen to the desired station, you can press either “AL1/V-” or “AL2/V+” to adjust the radio volume level.
- By the time when you turned OFF the clock Press “MODE” repeatedly to OFF (FM-BT-OFF), the last station you listened will be the wake up Radio’s station.
STORE THE RADIO STATIONS
There are 20 preset stations can be set on the clock (From P01, P02, PO3 to P20)
- Press the “ ****/MODE” button to turn ON the clock and switch to Radio mode.
- Search your desired stations by pressing “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ”
- Press and hold the “SET” button for 2 seconds until program number “P01, P02, P03… P20” appear on the display and blink.
- press the “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” button to select the program number.
- Press the “SET” button again and the desired radio station will be stored in the selected program number.
Repeat the above steps to store the other radio stations.
RECALLING PRESET STATIONS
- Turn ON the clock and switch to Radio mode
- Press “SET” button and you will see the last Program number shows on the display.
- Either press the “SET” button, “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” to change the program number in order to find your stored radio station.
SLEEP TO RADIO TIMER
There is a sleep timer function for you to select from 10, 20, 30….to 90 minutes to listen to the radio before sleep, the clock will be turned OFF automatically after the set time.
- Turn ON the clock and switch to Radio mode
- Press the “Zzz” button and “10” will be displayed on the screen. It means that you had turned on the Timer with 10 minutes count down
- If you want to extend the timer, you can press the “Zzz” button again then the count down time will be increased up to 90 minutes.
- If you want to switch OFF the timer function, you can keep pressing the “Zzz” button until “OFF” display on the screen. or, Press “MODE” to switch to “OFF” to turn off the clock.
AUTO / MANUAL DIMMER CONTROL
To adjust the display brightness, keep pressing “ ” button until your desired brightness level appears. Brightness is available in 4 levels and can be adjusted only when the radio and BT function disabled(clock is OFF) .Press “ ” button, you can adjust the brightness level as below:
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
- Turn ON the clock and press “( /MODE” button to switch to Bluetooth “BT”
- “BT” sign blinks meaning searching is ON from the clock. Please turn on the Bluetooth of your external audio device and look for CKS503 then connect. Once connected , the “BT” sign will stop blinking and short tone will be heard from the clock. Bluetooth now is connected and you can play the music source from your external audio device through the clock speakers.
- You can control the music playing on both the clock and your audio device.
- Press the “SET” button to PLAY or PAUSE.
- Press the “ ▼ ” or “ ▲ ” button to play Previous or Next.
- Press the “V-” or “V+” button to adjust the volume level of the music. NOTES: The unit does not have Hands-free speakerphone function.
USB CHARGING
You can connect your device to for charging.
Noted: Output 5V ,1A for charging mobile phone or portable digital audio
player
CHANGING THE LITHIUM BATTERY
The backup battery is only used for maintaining the time and alarm setting
during power outage.
The clock radio will not operate without AC Power.
Please ensure to place the backup battery correctly (positive polarity face
up) when changing the battery.
WARNING
DANGER OF EXPLOSION BATTERY IS INCORRCTLY REPLACED.
REPLACE ONLY WITH THE SAME OR EQUIVALENT TYPE.
DO NOT INGESTBATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD
This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell
battery is swallowed,it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and
can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.If the battery compartment does
not close securely,stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part

Care Of Cabinets
If the cabinet becomes dusty, wipe it with a soft cloth. If the cabinet
becomes smudged or dirty, clean it with a soft, slightly dampened cloth. Never
allow water or any liquid to get inside the cabinet. Never use any abrasive
cleaners or cleaning pads as these will damage the finish of your radio.
Lithium Battery Precautions
- Dispose of the old battery properly. Do not leave it lying around where a young child or pet could play with or swallow it. If the battery is swallowed, contact a physician immediately.
- The battery may explode if mistreated. Do not attempt to recharge it or disassemble it. Do not dispose of the old battery in a fire.
The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes throughout the country. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle this unit responsibly so as to promote the re-use of material resources.
