Setup and Installation

The headset supports Android and iOS phones between 4.7″ – 6.2.

Installing the Batteries
The controller requires 2 AAA-sized batteries (not included) to operate. Remove the compartment door on the under side of the speaker and insert the two batteries according to the polarities displayed in the compartment.

Pairing the Controller

  1. Long press the [c] button. The LED indicator will quickly flash BLUE.

  2. Set your mobile device to search for Bluetooth devices.
    When your mobile device finds the controller, select
    VR Box from the list of found devices.

Setting Up the Controller

Move the switch on the side of the controller to the iOS or Android setting, corresponding to your paired mobile device’s operating system.
Once paired, you will be required to assign the controller’s buttons to your device’s virtual keyboard.

  • Press the [ @ 1 button + [ A ] to assign. The LED indicator will flash to confirm.
  • Repeat for buttons [ B ], [ C ], and [ D].

Once configured, the controller will be in relative mode and your mobile device will now register the controller as a physical keyboard.
To further configure the controller, please consult the keyboard menu in your phone’s operating system as you may be able to make changes there.

The Bluetooth controller can be used in a number of different modes. To change modes, press [ @ ] and one of [A][B][ C] or [ D] buttons at the same time.

NOTE: The following modes are default for the controller, but may be different based on the app being used. Certain apps may also allow you to reassign the buttons on the controller or may not have functions corresponding to the button assignments below.

Music Mode

Press [ @ ] + [A] button for music mode.

  • Press [ A ] to play/pause music playback.
  • Press [ B] to exit/esc music app.
  • (Both iOS and Android) Tap the rocker to the left/right to skip to previous/next tracks.
  • (iOS Only) Tap the rocker up/down to skip to previous/ next tracks.
  • Press [ C ] / [ D] to adjust volume.
  • Press the [Shoulder 1] button to mute volume.
  • Press the [Shoulder 2] button to play/pause playback.
  • (iOS Only)With the camera app open, press the [ C] or [D] button to take a photo.

Game Mode
Press [ @ ] + [ B] button for game mode.

  • Use the rocker for controlling movement
  • The buttons can typically be re-assigned within the app.

VR Mode
Press [ @ ] + [ C] button for VR mode.

Use the rocker for controlling movement in games/VR environments.

Mouse Mode (Android Only)

  • Press [ @ ] + [ D] to switch to mouse mode.
  • Use the rocker to control the mouse on your phone’s screen.

Mouse Mode (cont’d)

  • Press [ A 1 for confirm selection and [ B] for exit or cancel
  • Press [ C] / [ D] to adjust volume.
  • [Shoulder 1] for cancel and [Shoulder 2] for confirm.

Installing Your Phone to the Headset

NOTE: If your phone is equipped with a protective case or sleeve, you may need to remove it to properly install to the headset.

  1. Release the visor door on the headset by pressing the [OPEN] button on top.
  2. Insert your phone into the cradle so that the metal clip braces against the back of your phone and the screen is facing toward the two lens on the inside.
  3. (Optional) If you would like to use the earphones, insert the 3.5mm auxiliary connector into your phone’s headphone jack. Volume is controlled with the volume wheel on the underside of the headset.
  4. Close the visor door so that it snaps shut.

Wearing the Headset
After installing your phone to the headest, undo the velcro straps and place over your head.
Once in position, velcro the straps back in place. The headset should rest comfortably on your head and against your face, if it is too tight, remove and readjust.

NOTE: You will most likely need to remove any glasses or other eyewear to use the headset.

Adjusting the Lens, Visor, and Earphones
To adjust the headset lens, use the [-/+ ] wheel on the top of the headset. This will adjust the lens together or away from each other. To adjust the distance of the phone, use the two knobs on the temples of the headset. The earphones can be pulled out or pushed in to properly align with your ears.

Warnings

  • VR headsets should NEVER be used when operating or near any vehicle or machinery.
  • Do NOT use the VR headset when near any kind of environmental hazard INCLUDING steep inclines, falls, pits, etc.
  • If you are moving around while using the VR headset, you must be FULLY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS, in other words, use the VR headset while in an enclosed room with zero hazards, always make sure that there is another person nearby while using the headset in case of injury.
  • Do not use the headset for more than 2 hours at a time.
  • If you feel sleepy or drowsy, do NOT use the headset.
  • Please use a high resolution phone for VR movies and games, using lower resolution phones can result in blurry or damaged vision.

Limited Warranty

In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform properly, you may within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines this product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.

Warranty service not provided
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, and unauthorized modification.
