This luminaire and power supply unit is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local code specifications.
Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury and/or damage to the PSU and void the warranty. These instructions do not purport to cover all details or variations in equipment, nor to provide for every possible contingency related to installation, operation, maintenance, or mounting situation. The plug on the power supply unit must be connected to a GFCI-protected hooded flush type cover plate receptacle marked “Wet Location” while in use.

Do not submerge luminaire or PSU in water.

Connect to Hue bridge:
Control with smart devices.
- Write down the serial number you can find on the small box.
- Switch on the Lightstrip Outdoor. Please check the A manual.
- Plug in the Hue Bridge and connect to your Wi-Fi router.
- Start the Hue app and follow the instructions.

This device should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20
centimeters between the radiator and your body.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or 1V interference caused by
unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such modifications could void
the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be
fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.

WARNING: When using outdoor use portable luminaires, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and personal injury, including the following:
a) Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords that have tnree prong
grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug.
b) Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection is to be provided on the
circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location portable luminaire.
Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and are able to be
used for this measure of safety.
c) Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an extension cord
of cord ~_pe SEW, SEOW, SEOOW, SOW, SOOW, STVY, STOW, STOOW, SJEW, SJEOW,
SJEOOW, SJW, SJOW, SJOOW, SITVY, SJTOW, or SJTOOW. SAVETHtSE INSTRUCTIONS.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Signify warrants that this device will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will operate for 2 years, unless a different period is stated in or on the packaging of the product, based on up to 3 hours average working time per day/7 days per week, when used as directed. If this device does not conform to the warranty, Signify will send you, at its election, a replacement device or refund your original price upon receipt of the returned device, register receipt and proof of purchase. Please call our toll-free number, 1-800-555-0050, or write to us (address indicated on the packaging) to find out how to return the device. This limited warranty does not cover devices subject to accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND IS YOUR SOLE REMEDY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IS HEREBY EXPRESSEL Y EXCLUDED. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this device does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the device off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
- Increase the separation between the device and receiver
- Connect the device into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for help
WARNINGSAND CAUTIONS:
- SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS.
- CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not use with extension cord near water or where water may accumulate. Keep the lamp at least 16 feet from pools and spas. Keep plugs and receptacles dry. For use only on GFCI-protected circuits.
- DO NOT SUBMERGE
- Clean interior lighting with a dry cloth duster, do not use abrasives or solvents. Avoid liquid on all electrical parts.
- RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not use with extension cord near water or where water may accumulate. Keep the lamp at least 16 feet from pools and spas. Keep plugs and receptacles dry.
- Do not connect the rope light to the supply while it is in the packing or wound onto a reel;
- Do not use the rope light when covered or recessed into a surface.
- The minimum allowed bending is 20cm in diameter.
- Do not open or cut the rope light
- Don’t tread on or twist the rope light
- Screw the connector between the power supply and the rope light tightly.
- WARNING – THIS ROPE LIGHT MUST NOT BE USED WITHOUT ALL GASKETS BEING IN PLACE.
- Do not connect this rope light to another manufacturer’s product
- Interconnection shall be made only by the use of the supplied connectors.
- Always consider all the technical specifications of the fitting. Verify the stated icons on the identification label on the fitting and the icons that are shown in part A of your safety instructions.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
- This device is not a toy designed to be played with by children.
- Do not place the device on hot surfaces.
- For safety reasons, do not open the device, which will also void the warranty.
- Only use the adaptor supplied; using a different adaptor can damage the device.
- In case an electrostatic discharge occurs, the product may malfunction and require the user to reset the product

This portable luminaire has a polarized plug ( one blade is wider than the
other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Do not clean the device when it is on and connected to the power supply.
To avoid scratching the device, clean only with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use cleaning agents to clean the device.
Manage in accordance with disposal laws in your area.
