Product Information

The watch is equipped with four buttons for operation. These buttons serve various functions, including hearing the alarm time, hearing the current time, and hearing the day, month, and year. The watch is designed to synchronize with the UK Atomic radio signal
automatically at 03:00 am every day. However, manual synchronization is also possible if needed.

Getting to know your watch:

  • Press the designated button to hear the alarm time.
  • Press the designated button to hear the current time.
  • Press the designated button to hear the day, month, and year.

Setting the time on your watch:

  1. Lay the watch flat on a wooden surface with the dial face up near a window.
  2. Press and hold the 10 o’clock button until the second hand stops at the 7 o’clock position.
  3. Wait for the watch to pick up the radio signal, which may take 3 to 8 minutes.
  4. After successful signal reception, the watch will display the correct time.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button once to check the reception status.
    The watch will either say “The Time Updated” or “Time not updated” depending on the reception result.

Troubleshooting:

If you are unable to connect to the UK atomic clock or if you are travelling abroad and need to manually set the time, follow these steps:

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for more than 2 seconds until the watch speaks.
  2. Press the 8 o’clock button four more times until the watch says “Set time, press 10 o’clock button to set.”
  3. Press the 10 o’clock button to enter time-setting mode.
  4. Use the 2 o’clock button to select the hour and the 4 o’clock button to select the minute. Listen carefully to ensure you set the correct AM or PM.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm the set time.
  6. The watch will automatically adjust to the newly set time.

Alarm Function:

To check if the alarm is set or turned off, press the 10 o’clock button once.

Setting the Daily Alarm Time:

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for 2 seconds until the watch says “Set Alarm…”.
  2. Press the 10 o’clock button to enter alarm-setting mode.
  3. Follow the watch’s instructions to set the desired alarm time.
  4. Use the 2 o’clock button to select the hour and the 4 o’clock button to select the minutes.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm the set alarm time.
  6. The watch will announce the alarm time you have set, and it will automatically activate the alarm for the following day.

Turning the alarm on and off:

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for 2 seconds until the watch says “Set Alarm…”.
  2. Press the 8 o’clock button one more time to access the alarm ON/Off settings.
  3. Press the 10 o’clock button to enter the alarm settings.
  4. Use the 2 o’clock button to turn ON the daily alarm or the 4 o’clock button to turn it OFF.

Setting the time on your watch

Your watch will normally have synchronized with the UK Atomic radio signal when it arrives. It attempts to do this automatically at 03:00am every day. If you need to manually synchronize the time please do the following:

  1. Lay the watch flat on a wooden surface with the dial face up near a window.
  2. Press and hold the 10 o’clock button until the second hand stops at the 7 o’clock position.
  3. The watch takes about 3 to 8 minutes to pick up radio the signal. Wait until the watch has finished the signal receiving procedure.
  4. After the successful signal reception. The watch will show the correct time after the fast-running second-hand stops.
  5. Push 8 o’clock button once. The watch will tell you the status of the reception. If reception was successful, the watch will say “The Time Updated”. If reception failed, the watch will say “ Time not updated”.

Troubleshooting

  • If the update fails please try again or wait overnight.
  • The atomic clock signal is a radio signal so you may need to try a different location in your property in order to update the time.
  • Keep the watch away from other electronic devices as this may interfere with the radio signal.
  • Do not place the watch on a metal surface when trying to update the time.

Manual Time Setting

If you’re travelling abroad your time may be incorrect and you won’t be able to connect to the UK atomic clock. To correct the time do the following:

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for more than 2 seconds. The watch will speak.
  2. Push the 8 o’clock button 4 more times, until the watch says. “Set time press 10 o’clock button to set”.
  3. Press the 10 o’clock button to set, the watch will instruct you how to set the time.
  4. Press the 2 o’clock button to choose the hour. Listen very carefully to the watch to make sure the correct AM or PM has been set.
  5. Press the 4 o’clock button to choose the minute.
  6. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm after you have set the time.
  7. After confirmation, the watch will automatically run to the time you have set.

Alarm Function

Push the 10 o’clock button once and you will hear if the Alarm Time has been set. If Alarm is turned Off, the watch will say” Alarm is Off”. If the Alarm is turned On, the watch will say “The Alarm Time is” (followed by the alarm time)

Setting the Daily Alarm Time

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for 2 seconds until the watch says “Set Alarm…”
  2. Press the 10 o’clock button.
  3. The watch will instruct you how to set the time.
  4. Press the 2 o’clock button repeatedly to set the correct hour. Next press 4 o’clock button repeatedly to set the correct minutes.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm after you have set the Alarm time.
  6. After confirmation, the watch will say the Alarm time that you have set.

The Alarm will beep for 30 seconds; you can turn off the Beeping Sound by pressing any button. The alarm will automatically set the following day.

Turning the alarm on and off

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for 2 seconds until the watch says “Set Alarm…”
  2. Push the 8 o’clock button one more time. the watch says “Alarm ON/Off…”
  3. Press the 10 o’clock button.
  4. To turn ON the daily alarm, Press the 2 o’clock button. To turn OFF the daily alarm, press 4 the o’clock button.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm.

Hourly Chime Settings

The watch can be set to announce the time every hour. To turn the hourly chime on and off follow these instructions:

  1. Hold the 8 o’clock button for more than 2 seconds until the watch says “Set Alarm…”
  2. Push the 8 o’clock button 2 more times, until the watch says “Chime ON/OFF…”
  3.  Press the 10 o’clock button.
  4. To turn OFF a Chime Alert, Press the 4 o’clock button. To turn ON a Chime Alert, Press the 2 o’clock button.
  5. Press the 8 o’clock button to confirm.

Battery replacement

When the battery is low, the watch hands automatically advance to 12 o’clock and stop and the talking function also stops indicating that the battery needs to be replaced. The watch uses a CR2032 type battery and should be changed by a trained jeweler or watch specialist to avoid damage to the watch. To change the battery follow these instructions:

  1. Open the case back and remove the back cover from the watch carefully.
  2. Loosen the metal sheet which above the battery. Take out the dead battery and insert a new one with the polarity “+” facing up. Put the metal sheet back and tighten the screw. Make sure the sealing ring is in place before you put back the back cover.
  3. After battery replacement, hold the 10 o’clock button until it says “confirm”
  4. Put the watch in a position where it will receive the atomic clock signal. Then hold the 10 o’clock button until the second hand moves to the 7 o’clock position. The watch is now seeking a signal. Normally the watch will receive a signal and the time will correct within 8 minutes. If the watch can’t pick up a signal set the watch manually or wait overnight.
