KONOQ WIFI Integrated Switch Wifi Integrated Dimmer Instruction Manual

DON`T INSTALL WITH POWER. Before commencing installation, isolate your mains electric supply.

Read the instructions carefully before starting the installation process and keep them for future reference. This product must be installed by a qualified electrician. This product should be installed in accordance with the relevant sections of the building

Installation

1. Remove the glass panel of a touch remote switch. Using a small flat screwdriver remove the front cover by placing the screwdriver in the location notch on the bottom part of the cover and twist to unclip the cover
   

2. Turn off the main and connect wires as described in the related diagram below. Push wires firmly into terminals and tighten terminal screws so that wires are held securely.
   

3. Use the screws supplied to attach switch to back box using a flat head screwdriver.
   

4. Follow pairing switch with application process (ref to Step 2 below)
   

5. Reattach the glass panel: Align the glass panel over the switch and firmly push to click into place

Please note:

1. Neutral wiring is required otherwise switch will not have power
2. Common wiring is not required for 2 way, which is achieved by smart programming. (Ref to Step 3 on second page)

SET UP APPLICATION TO CONTROL THE SWITCH

1. Download “Smart Life-Smart Living” from App Store or Google Play by searching or scanning the QR code below.

2. Follow the application instructions to register with your email and assign a password.
   

PAIRING KONOQ SWITCH WITH APPLICATION

1. Click “Add Device” or “+” in the right upper corner

2. Select “Switch (Wi-Fi)” for on/off models or “Dimmer Switch” for dimmer models in Electrician  category.

3. Enter password of the router. (Pls make sure 2.4 GHz band is selected on router if applicable)
   

4. While glass panel is not on, press the touch button and hold for about 7 seconds until the WiFi LED blinks fast. (Please note that WIFI LED light is under glass panel so you need to remove the glass panel to see it)
   
   

5. Confirm the WiFi LED blinks fast and click “Next” to search the switch.

6. Name the switch/light to add to your application.

Check operation of the switch.
7a) On/Off Models: Switch (1 to 4) represents each gang and tapping will on or off the related gang accordingly. Working (on) or off states are stated as below:

7b) Dimmer Models: Switch on or off the gang by tapping the bulb icon. Switch remembers the last dimming level when switched on again. In order to increase or decrease the dimming level, click on the dimming icon below. Adjust the desired brightness by increasing or decreasing the level in the next menu.

Note: If you experience flashing problem when dim level is down, you can set the minimum brightness of your lamp under settings menu. First select your light type and later set the minimum level until it works well.

TWO WAY CONTROL PROGRAMMING (IF REQUIRED)

Pls note that 2 way control programming is only possible between 2 or more WIFI integrated models. Both switches are required to be connected to L and N. Master switch is the one the light, which you want to control by both switches, is wired/connected. Slave switch is the one controls the same light without physical wiring/connection. The related gang on the slave switch should be left spare without wiring.

The example below shows programming pairing the 1g WIFI switch (master switch) with the third gang of the 3g WIFI switch (slave switch). You can follow the same principle for any switch or gang in your set up.

1. After choosing the master switch on the home menu. Click on the edit icon on the top right corner.

2. Click on the “Multi-control Association” on the next menu
   

3. Turn “enable” on by clicking the bar on the next menu.

4. Select the slave switch in the device list.

5. Select the related spare gang (named as switch) in the next menu.

6. Pairing will be completed. You can name the multi control group in the next screen.

Double check pairing also by touch control on both switches

PAIRING KONOQ WITH AMAZON ALEXA

1. Either in Tuya app, choose the switch you want to control in home menu, click on the edit icon on the top left corner and click Alexa icon on the next menu.
   Or in Amazon Alexa app, open dashboard and choose skills & games.Find “Smart Life” by search and click “Enable”
   

2. Link Alexa with Smart Life with your same credentials in Smart Life App in next two screens
   

3. After successful synchronization, click discover devices or voice command “Alexa, discover devices” and wait until related all lamps are found. After light is discovered, test the app by either directly speaking to Alexa or click lights and choose the related light. First check on and off button to ensure synchronization has been done correctly.
   

PAIRING KONOQ WITH GOOGLE ASSISTANT

1. Either in Tuya app, choose the switch you want to control in home menu, click on the edit icon on the top left corner and click Google Assistant icon on the next menu. Or on the homepage of Google Home App, click the button in the higher left corner, select “+”, select “Set up device” under the list of “Add and manage”, and then click “Have something already set up”.
   

2. Find “Smart Life ” in the list. In the new window, select your Smart Life account’s region, type your Smart Life account and password, then tap “Link Now”. After you assign rooms for devices, your devices will be listed in the Home Control page.
   

3. Link with Verification Code, open Tuya Smart App, click”Me–More Services–Google Assistant”
   

4. Now you can control your smart devices through Google Home. Take bedroom light as the example, the supported voice commands are: Ok Google, turn on/off bedroom light / Ok Google, brighten/dim bedroom light
