Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that the PosiTector gage body is charged or has fresh batteries installed.
Connect the gage body to a PC using the included USB cable for data transfer or continuous power supply.
To measure non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metal substrates, attach the N90S probe to the gage body.
Power on the PosiTector gage body and wait for the touchscreen to display the main menu.
Use the redesigned keypad and touchscreen to navigate through the menu and select the desired mode of operation (e.g., Fast Mode, Statistics Mode, Prompted Batch Mode, Scan Modes).
If necessary, use the touchscreen keyboard to rename batches, add notes, or perform other functions.
Follow the on-screen prompts and instructions to perform measurements according to the required standards (e.g., SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840, IMO PSPC 90/10).
View live graphing of measurement data and calculate average, standard deviation, min/max thickness, and number of readings while measuring.
For pre-defined batches, follow the on-screen text and image prompts for each reading.
If desired, use the PosiSoft Software or a mobile device running the PosiTector App for data transfer and analysis.
For calibration adjustments on different substrate conditions, access the stored calibration adjustments in the menu.
After usage, power off the PosiTector gage body and disconnect it from the PC or power supply.
