Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the PosiTector gage body to the N0S probe using the removable cabled probe.
- Ensure the gage body is powered by either connecting it to a PC using the included USB cable or utilizing the continuous power supply through the USB port.
- Turn on the gage body and navigate through the menu options using the redesigned keypad and 2.8-inch touchscreen.
- Select the desired mode for measurement: Fast Mode for quick inspection with 90+ readings per minute, Statistics Mode for calculating average, standard deviation, min/max thickness, and number of readings while measuring, or Scan Modes to increase measurement speed to 180+ readings per minute.
- For compliance with standards, utilize the SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840, and IMO PSPC 90/10 modes which prompt for max/min specifications, display the necessary readings, and automatically calculate statistics with a pass/fail result.
- Create pre-defined batches with on-screen text and image prompts for each reading using the Prompted Batch Mode.
- Store calibration adjustments for measuring on different substrate conditions.
- View live graphing of measurement data on the color touchscreen.
- Utilize the touchscreen keyboard to quickly rename batches, add notes, and perform other functions.
- Connect wirelessly to PosiSoft.net for synchronization and software updates, or use 4.0 Technology for data transfer to a mobile device running the PosiTector App or optional portable printer. Integration into third-party software is also possible using BLE API.
