PHILIPS BA-S Series Dome Functional Pendants Light
Product Information
The pendant trackmounted (BA-L & BA-S) is an indoor luminaire that comes in
two series, BA-L and BA-S. It is equipped with LEDs and has a dome shape. The
luminaire has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours with an L80B50 rating. It
operates at 220V and 50Hz
and can also be used with 240V and 60Hz. The luminaire has dimensions
specified in millimeters and has an IK02 IP20 rating for protection against
solid objects.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the pendant trackmounted luminaire, follow these instructions:
- For pendant trackmounted installation, use the BA-L or BA-S series.
- For pendant surfacemounted installation, use the BA-L or BA-S series.
- Make sure to use the appropriate power supply unit (PSU) and pendant surface driver (PSD) based on the luminaire series.
- Ensure that the luminaire is connected to a fixed installation cable for mains electricity.
- For through wiring options, follow the instructions provided for PSU/WIA and PSD/DIA.
- When installing the luminaire on a track, choose the appropriate phase (1, 2, or 3) before fastening.
- Refer to the GLOBAL Trac connecting diagrams for track version assembly and disassembly.
- When disassembling or shifting the luminaire, make sure the light is turned off.
- Clean the luminaire with a dry cloth.

- Disconnect before servicing
- Luminaire has basic insulation between Low Voltage supply and control conductors.
- The control gear and/or the external flexible cable contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person. The light source contained in this luminaire is not replaceable, in case of damage replace the luminaire.
- Storage, installation, use, operation and maintenance of the products needs to be performed exactly according the instructions in this manual and/or other instructions as may be provided by us to guarantee safe use of the product over its entire lifetime. Failure to adhere to these instructions will invalidate your entitlement to warranty. Bolts with indication of torque strength on the drawing need to be tightened using a calibrated torque wrench. Pre-assembled bolts need to be retightened again to the required torque specification to assure maximum strength over lifetime.

Local regulations prohibiting the discarding of equipment and packaging together with municipal waste must be strictly observed. Proper disposal of used packaging and product will help to avoid potential harmful eff ects on the environment and human health.
