INTRODUCTION
The CURV 500 ISUB is a compact, passive bass-reflex subwoofer with a 10″ driver and a low mounting depth, specially designed and developed for the installation of CURV 500 systems. Its frequency response ranges from 47-150 Hz for a streamlined, dynamic bass reproduction with pressure and definition; the power capacity is 250 watts RMS. The elegant housing with texture paint and steel front grille features a speakON-compatible socket and a terminal block connection for inputs and eight M8 flight points. The ISUB is available in black or white, a flat wall or ceiling holder and a set of rubber feet are supplied.

CONNECTIONS, CONTROLS, AND INDICATORS

  1. SPEAKON-COMPATIBLE SPEAKER CONNECTION
2-pin speaker connector to connect the CURV500 installation amplifier LDCURV500IAMP.

  2. TERMINAL BLOCK CONNECTION
2-pin terminal block connector to connect the CURV500 installation amplifier LDCURV500IAMP (terminal block connector included).

NOTE: Do not use any of the two connections to relay the speaker signal, since a subwoofer already has an impedance of 3 ohms and the installa-tion amplifier could be overloaded in case of a parallel connection of two or more subwoofers.

SETTING UP THE SUBWOOFER

Unscrew the 4 screws from the M8 threaded sleeves in the corners (short or long side of housing) on the chosen installation side; screw the included rubber feet to the corners and place the subwoofer at a suitable location on a level surface.

Ensure a tight fit.

Attach suitable steel ropes, or steel chains to the 4 eyelets (suitable ring screws, eye nuts etc.) to the chosen location on the ceiling in such way that they are parallel to each other (same hole spacing as the ring screws on the subwoofer).
