Testing

Spread through the light strips straight and power on to test whether they light normally.

Warning : Ensure to correctly connect the control box with the light strips.

Testing

Installing

1. Choose a dry, clean and smooth surface and wipe off the dust with alcohol prep pads.

2. Tear off the adhesive tape and paste the light strips on the chosen surface immediately.

Warning: Avoid bending on the LED beads.

3. Press firmly to remove the air between the light strips and the surface.

4. Use the provided adhesive hooks to reinforce it if necessary.

Download the Soundcore app to enhance your experience.

  • Connect, manage, and disconnect the device.
  • Check product information.
  • Upgrade the firmware.
  • Set the timer for the lights to automatically turn on and off.
  • Adjust and manage light patterns.
  • Adjust the basic light colors and paints.
  • Customize unique light effects (Color/Speed/Direction/Brightness).
  • Make your own playlist and each track can be accompanied by multiple light effects.
  • Switch voice pickup modes (Built-in microphone/PartyCast).
  • Adjust voice pickup sensitivity (High/Medium/Low).
  • Enter PartyCast mode to sync with your PartyCast speaker.

Voice Pickup Modes

There are two voice pickup modes you can select from the Soundcore app.

  • Microphone: the light will be synchronized with the ambient sounds or music. You can also adjust the voice pickup sensitivity of the microphone.
  • PartyCast: wirelessly connect with your PartyCast speaker and the light will be synchronized with the music played by the speaker, without noise interference.

The light strips come with multiple preset light patterns both in the rhythm and motion categories.

PartyCast

PartyCast enables the light strips to wirelessly connect with your PartyCast speaker, the ambient sounds will be blocked and the light effects will be synchronized with the music played.

1. Read carefully the user manual of your PartyCast speaker and complete the Bluetooth connection with your smartphone or tablet.
2. Activate PartyCast pairing mode of the PartyCast speaker.
3. Press the PartyCast button on the control box to enter PartyCast pairing mode. Alternatively, select “PartyCast” to connect from in the app.

How to check whether the PartyCast connection is successful or not?
Pause the music, clap your hands, and check the light strips’ response.

  • If the light strips respond with light effects, this means they are not connected with the PartyCast speaker, the voice pickup source is from the microphone.
  • If no light effects happen, it means already connected.

Troubleshooting

The light strip doesn’t work.| • Make sure to correctly connect the control box to the light strip and the power adapter.

Failed to connect this device to the app.| • Make sure to turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
• Turn the light strip off, then turn it on to try again.
• Keep the light strip 1m/3.28ft or closer to your smartphone.
Cannot sync with music or sounds.| • Keep the music source closer to the control box.
• Clean out the microphone on the control box.
Some LED beads do not light up.| • Please contact our customer service team.

Important Safety Instructions

Read all the instructions before using the product, refer to the information on the exterior bottom enclosure for electrical and safety information before installing or operating the product.

1. Store the product in a cool and dry place.
2. Do not store the product in a hot or humid environment.
3. Keep out of the reach of children.
4. Do not touch the product for a long time when powered on.
5. Power off and unplug the adapter when not use for an extended period of time.
6. Do not connect the rope light to the supply while it is in the packing or wound onto a reel.
7. Do not use the rope light when covered or recessed into a surface.
8. Keep away from any sharp objects. Do not open or bend the rope light.
9. Use of a power supply or charger not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
10. Operating temperature should be between 0°C to 40°C.
11. Do not disassemble the product or make unauthorized alterations to the product; doing so may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, system performance, and may void the warranty.
12. Do not clean the product with harmful chemicals or detergents.
13. Misuse, dropping or excessive force may cause product damage.
14. Do not subject the product to mechanical shock, crushing, or cutting.
15. Do not short-circuit the product or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
16. Do not use the product in excess of its output rating. Overload outputs above rating may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
17. Do not use the product that is damaged or modified. It may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
18. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packaging.
19. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way:such as power supply or cord is damaged; liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus; the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.
20. Do not install this equipment near any heat sources or in a confined or building-in space such as a bookcase or similar unit, and remain in good ventilation conditions at an open site.
21. Only suitable for safe use in areas below 2000m above sea level. Suitable for safe use in tropical and non-tropical areas.
22. Protect the power supply or cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
