FuelTech 7994 VR-Hall Converter
V R/Hall Converter
The VR/HALL converter was designed to read an analog VR signal and transform
it to a digital signal (Hall). Recommended when using VR speed sensors (found
in most ABS systems) or when using VR fuel flow meters, for example.
Important Notes
- Do not share 12V between the converter and coils or actuators.
- When connecting the VR/Hall converter to the VR sensor, it might be necessary to swap the wires, since VR sensors have specific pinout to read properly.
- Some ABS sensors are not compatible with the VR/Hall converter. Sensor GAP can affect VR sensor reading, in most of the cases a gap close to 0.030in.
