OPERATING USE
-
(1) 2.6 × 5 mm / 0.10 x 0.20 in tapping screw for plastic
After connecting the power, the alarm will sound when an input signal is present. However, in the case of two signals starting simultaneously, the lower channel has first priority. -
(3) Volume Adjustment :
Open the front panel to locate the volume adjustment knob, and adjust to the desired level 0…90dB). The level is set for maximum upon shipment. Do not listen closer than 0.2 m at maximum sound level. -
(4) Sound Group Selection
Open the front panel to locate the select knob, and select the desired setting. Refer to the Table of Built-in sounds (chapter F) for the available sound group Selections.-
Sound Group A to O:
When selected, the bit input function will correspond to the external input signal, and the corresponding alarm will sound. If two signals start simultaneously, the lower channel will take first priority. -
Sound Group P
When selected, the input is controlled by a binary-coded decimal; and the corresponding melody/alarm will sound. Refer to the Table of built-in sounds, “Binary Mode” ( chapter F) for the settings. -
Front Panel Locking Screw Stem :
After the volume and group have been set, the front panel can be locked to prevent tampering. Close the front panel and use a 2.6 mm/0.10 in locking screw to secure the door ( screw not included).
