SAFETY INFORMATION: WASHER

  • This washer is intended only for washing of clothes and textiles in water. Do not use for any other purpose.
  • Door is locked during washer operation. Do not attempt to open door until cycle has finished.
  • FIRE HAZARD: Never place items in the washer that contain petrol or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not tumble dry anything that has had any kind of oil on it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
  • This washer is not designed for washing items which may create an explosive atmosphere inside the washer and must not be used for this purpose.
  • Do not use hypochlorite additive, as it may cause corrosion, and may result in component failure under certain circumstances.
  • Do not use this washer if it appears to be damaged or defective. Contact the owner.
  • This washer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the washer by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the washer.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Emergency stop control: After installation, access to mains plug or disconnection from mains supply via a double-pole switch must be ensured at all times in order to ensure immediate deactivation of the washer in case of emergency.
  • Washer maximum capacity (as tested) — 10.5 kg.

SAFETY INFORMATION: DRYER

  • This dryer is intended only for drying clothes and textiles that have been washed in water. Do not use for any other purpose.
  • WARNING: If you smell gas, do not use the dryer or any electrical equipment nearby. Warn other people to clear the area. Contact the dryer owner immediately.
  • Do not use this dryer without the lint screen in place.
  • Clean lint screen before each load.
  • Do not use this dryer if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning. The possible presence of residual quantities of aggressive or decomposed chemicals in the load may produce damage to the dryer and harmful fumes.
  • This dryer MUST NOT be used to dry off solvents or dry cleaning fluids.
  • Adequate ventilation must be provided to avoid the backflow of gases into the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.
  • The fresh air ventilation openings into the room and into the dryer must not be blocked or sealed.
  • This dryer is not designed for drying items that may create an explosive atmosphere inside the dryer, and must not be used for this purpose.
  • Opening the dryer door will stop the function of the dryer.
  • The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool-down cycle) to ensure that the articles are left at a temperature that will not damage them.
  • WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated (to avoid spontaneous combustion risk).
  • In case of electricity supply failure, remove the load quickly and spread it out to avoid spontaneous combustion risk.
  • This dryer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the dryer by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the dryer.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Do not dry unwashed items in the dryer.
  • Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to heat sources, such as in a tumble dryer. The items become warm, causing an oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation creates heat. If the heat cannot escape, the items can become hot enough to catch fire. Piling, stacking, or storing oilaffected items can prevent heat from escaping and create a fire hazard.
  • If it is unavoidable that fabrics containing vegetable or cooking oil, or that have been contaminated by hair care products, are placed in a tumble dryer, they should first be washed in hot water with extra detergent to reduce, but not eliminate, the hazard.
  • Items that have been soiled with substances such as acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before being dried in the dryer.
  • Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles, and clothes or pillows filled with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the dryer.
  • Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified in the fabric softener instructions.
  • Emergency stop control: After installation, access to mains plug or disconnection from mains supply via a double-pole switch, must be ensured at all times in order to ensure immediate deactivation of the dryer in case of emergency.
  • When loading or re-loading the dryer, avoid touching hot metal parts of the drum (burn risk).
  • Do not use this dryer if it appears damaged or defective. Contact the owner.
  • If drum rotation is blocked due to trapped textiles, disconnect the dryer from the power supply before gently removing the blockage.
  • Remove all flammable objects such as lighters and matches from pockets of items to be dried in the dryer.
  • Dryer maximum capacity (as tested) — 10.5 kg. • Only authorized spare parts shall be used in the event of failure.
  • Do not use an unlined masonry chimney as the flue for this appliance.
  • If an error code is displayed, contact the owner. The owner shall call service.
  • Do not use or store flammable materials in or near this appliance.
  • Do not place articles on or against this appliance.
  • Exhaust air shall not be discharged into a flue which is used for other appliances.
  • means that care is required to avoid causing a fire by igniting flammable material.
