  • Only use the output socket to power external devices.
    Never connect the output to mains power under any circumstances.
    DO NOT touch the unit or the plug-in points if your hands are wet.

  • DO NOT connect any metallic objects to the AC input or output.

  • DO NOT rub your eyes if fluid from inside the unit should get in your eyes.

  • DO NOT dispose the unit together with household waste.

  • DO NOT charge the unit via power supply systems that operate outside of 100-240V.
  • DO NOT place the unit on its side or upside down while in use or storage.
  • DO NOT use accessories for other usage.

  • If rust, peculiar odors, overheating or other abnormal circumstances are observed, stop using the unit immediately and contact dealer or our customer service center.
  • The unit complies with all legal requirements for transport of dangerous goods.
  • Make sure that the unit is properly secured when transporting it in a motor vehicle.
  • Only charge, use and store the unit within an ambient temperature according to the specifications.
  • Switch the unit off immediately if it has accidentally fallen, was dropped or was exposed to vibrations.
  • Carefully read the instructions for the electric devices that you intend to connect to your power supply unit.
  • Make sure that the device  you are connecting isswitched off before you connect it.

Intended Use:
The X-1000 is designed as a portable power access point and is primarily made available for low power devices of 1 000W or less. It is not intended for use with high power devices and should only be used with devices requiring 1000 watts or less to preserve the lifetime of the X-1000.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

TFT DISPLAY

Press the main power button, it will turn on the TFT screen. From the screen, you can check the battery capacity, power input, DC output, AC voltage & frequency, output, inside temperature, cooling fan, LED light.

CHARGING

DC OUTPUT
Press the main power button to turn on DC outputs. Please ensure the total DC power consumption is less than 120W, or it will automatically shut off, need to restart the power station.MONTEK-X1000-1000W-Portable-Power-Station-

AC OUTPUT
Press AC ON/OFF button while main power is ON. Please ensure the total power consumption is less than 1000W, or it will automatically shut off, need to restart the power stationMONTEK-X1000-1000W-Portable-Power-Station-

LED FLASHLIGHT
Press the LED light button to turn on the 3W light while main power is ON. A second press will turn the light to SOS mode. A third press on the button will turn off the light.

RECHARGING

Before use or storage, plug your X-1000 into the wall until it is fully charged. If the display shows less than 20% capacity, plug it into a power source, like an AC outlet or a solar panel, as soon as possible. There are many ways to recharge your X-1000:

Solar charging
The solar charging input is MPPT 12-70V 12A 360W Max.

  • If using one 18V or 36V solar panel, just connect the solar panel to DC IN directly using the included MC4 solar charging cable.MONTEK-X1000-1000W-Portable-Power-Station-fig12
  • If using two 18V solar panels, connect the solar panels in series first, then connect to DC IN using the MC4 solar charging cable.MONTEK-X1000-1000W-Portable-Power-Station-fig13
  • If using two 36V solar panels, connect the solar panels in parallel, then connect to DC IN using the MC4 solar charging cable.MONTEK-X1000-1000W-Portable-Power-Station-fig-14
  • If using four 18V solar panels, connect two solar panels in series to get 36V array first, then connect two PV arrays in parallel to DC IN using the MC4 solar charging cable.

AC charging

Car charging

FAQS

  1. What kind of the battery chemistry is used? What is the battery life cycle?
    X-1000 uses 1C charge/3C discharge Electric Vehicle Li-ion NCM polymer battery cell, it has 2000 cycles @ 1 C charge/discharge to 80% of initial capacity.

  2. Can I charge and discharge this simultaneously?
    Yes, it supports pass through charging for both AC and DC loads.

  3. Could I recharge X-1000 by solar charging and AC charging at the same time?
    Yes, you could use solar charging and AC charging to charge X-1000 simultaneously.
    Total input is about 560W Max.

  4. How long does it take to charge X-1000 by solar panel?
    It depends on many conditions, like weather, solar panel power, angle, etc. Under good conditions, it takes about 7-8 hours if you use 2120W solar panel, and 3.5-4 hours if you use 4 120W solar panel.

  5. How could I set the AC & DC auto off function?
    Turn off the main switch, connect the unit to wall socket with included AC charging cable. Long press AC ON/OFF button for 10 seconds, then you could see the setting interface on the screen. Long press 1 second to choose the item you want to set, short press 0.1 second to set the numerical value.

WARRANTY

Limited Warranty
We warrant to the original consumer purchaser that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period identified in the ‘Warranty Period’ section below, subject to the exclusions set forth below. This warranty statement sets forth our total and exclusive warranty obligation. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

Warranty Period
The warranty period is 24 months. In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. The sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, or other reasonable documentary proof, is required in order establish the start date of the warranty period.

Remedy
We will repair or replace (at our option) any product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to defect in workmanship or material. If a valid claim is made during the applicable period, we will either

  1. Replace the product, or
  2. Exchange the product with a product that is of equal value. A repair, or replacement product will only be authorized if within the appropriate warranty period and having followed all manufacturer’s operating instructions. We will not be responsible if any of our products have been:
    (a) Operated or used outside of manufacturer’s instructions
    (b) Been altered or adapted in any way
    (c) Been tampered with or had any factory seals broken

Limited to Original Purchaser
Our product warranties are limited to the original purchaser/consumer and may not be passed on to a subsequent owner.

Exclusions
Our warranties do not apply to any product that has been misused, modified, damaged by an accident, flood or water damage, or for any use outside of those recommended in this user manual and/or the manufacturer’s specifications.
