Merazet Pozna DL DKL032 Centrifugal Pump

Product Information

The FLUID MECHANICS MODULE FOR CENTRIFUGAL PUMP CHARACTERISTICS (DL DKL032) is designed to be used with the hydraulic bench DL DKL014. It is mounted on an aluminum frame and consists of several pipes and valves that allow the pump of the module to be connected to the pump of the hydraulic bench either in series or in parallel. The machine comes with a frequency converter that controls the speed of rotation of the pump. It also includes two power meters for measuring the consumed power by both pumps. By studying the characteristics of centrifugal pumps, users can understand how
these pumps operate and how various factors affect their efficiency.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the FLUID MECHANICS MODULE is securely mounted on the hydraulic bench DL DKL014.
  2. Connect the pipes and valves of the module to the pump of the hydraulic bench. You can choose to connect them in series or in parallel, depending on your experimental requirements.
  3. Use the frequency converter to control the speed of rotation of the pump. Adjust the speed as needed for your experiments.
  4. Monitor the power consumption of both pumps using the two power meters provided.
  5. Study and analyze the characteristic curves of the centrifugal pump. This will help you understand how the pump operates and how different factors affect its efficiency.
  6. Use the manometers provided to measure the Total Manometric Head (T.M.H.) at various points in the pumping installation.
  7. Analyze the height-flow (H-Q) relationship and power-flow (P-Q) relationship to gain insights into the performance of the pump.
  8. Explore the characteristic curves of parallel operation to understand how multiple pumps work together.
  9. Make sure to meet the requirements for power flow (P-Q) and performance flow (-Q) as specified.
  10. Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided in the user manual for proper and safe usage of the FLUID MECHANICS MODULE.

The equipment is designed to run on a hydraulic bench DL DKL014. The installation is mounted on a frame built with aluminum elements. The system has several pipes and valves allowing the pump of the module to be coupled to the pump of the hydraulic bench in series or in parallel. The machine has a frequency converter for controlling the speed of rotation of the pump. It also has two power meters for obtaining the consumed power of both pumps. Through the study of the characteristics of centrifugal pumps, you can learn the operation and function of the main factors affecting their efficiency.
