BEFORE FIRST USE

1.  Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
2.  Remove all packaging. Keep away from children.
3.  Clean the grill plates by wiping them with a sponge or a cloth dampened in warm water.
4.  Dry with a cloth or a paper towel.
5.  Do not immerse the unit in liquid and do not let the water run directly on the grilling surfaces.
6.  For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with some cooking oil or butter before use.
   NOTE: When your sandwich toaster is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal and does not affect the safety of your appliance. At first use please operate the appliance without any food on it.

HOW TO USE

1.  Close the sandwich toaster and plug it to the outlet. The power and ready-to-cook indicator light will switch on, indicating that preheating has begun.
2.  It will take approximately 3 minutes to reach cooking temperature, the ready-to-cook indicator light will switch off.
3.  Open the lid, put the sandwich on the bottom grilling plate.
4.  Close the lid. The ready-to-cook indicator light will switch on again.
5.  Grill for about 3-8 minutes, the ready-to-cook indicator light switches off again, cooking time depends on your individual taste.
6.  When the sandwich is toasted use the handle to open the lid. Remove the sandwich with the help of a plastic spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as they can damage the non-stick coating of the grill plates.
7.  When you finish toasting, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave the unit open to cool.

CLEANING AND CARE

1.  Always unplug the sandwich toaster and allow to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble the sandwich toaster for cleaning. Never immerse the sandwich toaster in water or place it in the dishwasher.
2.  Wipe cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove any food residue. Pour some warm water over the food residue, then clean with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad or a wet towel paper.
3.  Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
4.  Do not use metal utensils to remove food, as they can damage the non-stick surface.
5.  Wipe the body of the sandwich toaster with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the body with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as they will damage the finish. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
6.  Do not place in the dishwasher.

STORAGE

1. Always unplug the sandwich toaster before storing it.
2.  Always make sure the sandwich toaster is cool and dry before storing
3.  The power cord can be wrapped around the bottom of the base for storage.
