Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the shaver, make sure it is fully charged.
  2. Apply shaving cream or gel to the area you want to shave.
  3. Gently move the shaver in circular motions over the skin, following the contours of your face.
  4. Rinse the shaver under running water to clean it after each use.
  5. For best results, replace the shaving head regularly.
  6. Do not use the shaver with wet hands or in the shower.
  7. Avoid using excessive pressure while shaving to prevent skin irritation.
  8. Store the shaver in a cool and dry place when not in use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance

  1. Read this manual carefully before putting the device into operation.
  2. Keep these instructions, the cash receipt and the packaging of the device. In case of loss, the operating manual is not renewed, and such a device is removed from the warranty. Use the device only for its intended purpose.
  3. Do not place the device near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (it is forbidden to immerse it in water and other liquids).
  4. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
  5. In case of moisture or leakage from the appliance, disconnect it from the mains immediately.
  6. Do not install the device on soft, uneven, unstable surfaces. Do not cover the appliance.
  7. Disconnect the appliance from the power outlet after use and before cleaning. When disconnecting the device, it is necessary to take and pull the plug, not the power cord.
  8. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended. Make sure that the power cord is laid out of the reach of children.
  9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or who do not have sufficient experience and knowledge without instruction on the use of this appliance and on possible dangers in case of its improper operation.
  10. Check the appliance and its power cord regularly for damage. Operation of a faulty device is not allowed. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact qualified specialists. If the power cord is damaged, replace it immediately by the manufacturer, authorized service or a qualified specialist.
  11. It is allowed to use only original spare parts. Do not use accessories that are not included in the package.
  12. Before starting operation, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the device.
  13. Before turning on the device, make sure that it is fully and correctly assembled.
  14. Do not pull the power cord if it touches the edges of objects with sharp edges, is squeezed by any objects or is tangled; do not allow the power cord to touch hot objects.
  15. If the power cord or any other part of the device is damaged, immediately dis-connect the device from the electrical network and contact the manufactur-er’s service center. In case of unskilled interference with the device device or non-compliance with the rules of operation of the device listed in this manual, the warranty is canceled.
  16. Connect the device only to power outlets that have a ground contact, use exten-sion cords of only two-pole type 10 A with a grounding wire.
  17. Do not use several energy-intensive devices at the same time, this may lead to malfunctions in the electrical network of residential premises.
  18. The device can be disassembled only after the engine stops completely.
  19. The appliance should not be used if
    • the power cord is damaged;
    • the device has visible damage;
    • the device fell from a height.
  20. Do not use the appliance at temperatures below 0 °C and above 35 °C. If the device has been at a temperature below 0 °C for a long time, place it in a heated room at least 3 hours before switching on.
  21. Do not keep the plug in the mains : if the device does not work properly (in-creased noise, vibration, etc.); before disassembly or assembly; after each use. If you need to move away even for a short time, always disconnect the appliance from the mains.
  22. Packaging materials can be potentially dangerous for children and should be put away in a specially designated place.
  23. Special conditions for transportation (transportation), sale: no.
  24. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

OPERATING PROCEDURE CHARGING

  • Connect the plug of the power cord to the USB connector and connect the electric shaver to the cord. The charging indicator will appear on the display.
  • It is not recommended to keep the shaver connected to external power supply longer than 24 hours.
  • Upon charging completion a corresponding message will appear on the display. Remove the shaver from the charger base.

OPERATING TIPS

  • Press the ON/OFF button to turn the shaver on.
  • Touch the shaving head to your skin and turn the shaver on, start quickly moving the shaver across the skin. You can move the shaver in circular or reciprocating motions.
  • After shaving turn the shaver off and close the shaving head with the transparent protective cap to avoid injuries.
  • It may take some time for your skin to get used to the shaver, after which the shaving process will become easier.
  • Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to activate the locking function.

MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE SHAVER

  • Regular cleaning will ensure the best shaving quality.
  • The most convenient and hygienic way to clean the shaver is to rinse the shaving head and hair collection chamber with hot water after each use.
  • Press the shaving head latch to swing the shaving head open, providing the access for cleaning.
  • Using the supplied brush clean the shaving head on the outside and the inside, as well as the blade action mechanism.
  • You cab rinse the shaving head with a jet of warm water. Dry the shaving head completely before closing it. After the shaving head had dried completely close it, place the protective cap on it and put the shaver away for storage.

CLEANING THE SHAVING HEAD

  • Swing the shaving head open, remove it from the shaver housing and remove the frame holding the blade units in place.
  • Clean the blades and slats with the supplied brush.
  • Clean the blade units one by one, as they are individually fitted sets. If you accidentally mix the blades and slats up the grinding-in and restoration of effective blade operation would take several weeks.
  • Insert the blades and slats into the shaving head. Replace the retaining frame.
  • Ensure that the lugs on the slats match the recesses in the shaving head.

DISPOSAL

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). GU ARANTEE MAI NTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed

    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
      The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed

    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases

    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication net-works incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance
    • remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    • consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the con-sumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or in-directly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
