Product Usage Instructions
- Preparation:
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Open the lid and pour 1450 ml of water into the tank.
- Insert the nylon filter into the filter holder.
- Making Coffee:
- Open the lid of the coffee maker.
- Use the measuring spoon to place the desired amount of ground coffee into the nylon filter.
- Close the lid.
- Turn on the coffee maker.
- The hot water will be filtered through the ground coffee, resulting in a flavorful and tasty coffee.
- The taste of the coffee will depend on the quality of the ground coffee beans used. It is recommended to use freshly ground coffee beans.
- Keeping Coffee Hot:
- To keep the coffee hot, keep the pot on the heating plate without turning off the coffee maker.
ATTENTION! Do not keep the lid of the appliance open for more than 30 seconds while the coffee maker is operating to prevent coffee from overflowing the hopper.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE
For making coffee from ground coffee beans.
This device is intended for use in domestic and similar conditions, in
particular:
- in kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices, and other industrial conditions;
- on agricultural farms;
- clients in hotels, motels, and other residential infrastructure;
- in private boarding houses.
SECURITY MEASURES
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid
situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures
of the appliance:
- Please read this manual carefully before putting the device into operation. Keep these instructions, the cash receipt and the packaging of the device.
- Improper handling of the coffee maker can lead to its breakdown, cause material damage and harm the health of the user.
- To avoid electric shock and damage to the device, use only those accessories that are included in the delivery package.
- Before turning on the coffee maker, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage of the appliance.
- Place the coffee maker on a dry, flat surface. Do not place it on hot surfaces or near heat sources (electric stove, etc.), as well as near curtains or under hanging shelves.
- To avoid burns, do not touch the hot surfaces of the coffee maker.
- The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or sensory abilities or lack of life experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed to use the device by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to prevent playing with the device.
- Do not turn on the coffee maker without water.
- Use only cold water to make coffee.
- Turn on the coffee maker only when the coffee cup is installed.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
- If the appliance is not in use, always disconnect it from the mains.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
PREPARATION
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Open the lid and pour 1450 ml of water into the tank, insert the nylon filter into the hopper (do not put coffee in), and close the tank with the lid. Set the pot on the plate, plug the power cable into an electric socket, and turn the coffee maker on by pressing the button. The pilot light will turn on and the water will start to flow into the pot. After several seconds press once again, and the blue light will turn on and the coffee maker will switch to automatic coffee-making mode. The appliance will turn off automatically after 40 minutes of coffee making.
- When all water in the tank is used up turn the coffee maker off by turning the button twice.
- Let the appliance cool down for 5 minutes wash all removable components with warm water with a neutral detergent, rinse them, wipe dry, and reinstall. The coffee maker is now ready for operation.
MAKING COFFEE
The process of making coffee consists in filtering hot water through ground
coffee. This gives the drink flavor and a pronounced taste. The taste of the
resulting coffee will depend on the quality of the input product, therefore it
is recommended to use freshly ground coffee beans.
- Open the lid if the coffee maker. Using the measuring spoon place the required quantity of ground coffee in the filter, and spread it out, but do not compress it.
- Fill the tank with water to the required level.
- Close the coffee maker’s lid.
- Place the pot on the heating plate.
- Plug the power cable into an electric socket, the unit’s display will show 12:00.
- Turn the coffee maker on by pressing the button; the red indicator will light up and the coffee will start dripping after some time.
- When all the water has gone through the filter, turn the coffee maker on by pressing the button twice.
- For the coffee to stay hot, keep the pot on the heating plate without turning the coffee maker off.
ATTENTION! Do not keep the lid of the appliance open for more than 30 seconds while the coffee maker is operating to prevent coffee from overflowing the hopper.
DISPLAY SETTINGS
The appliance has a startup delay function:
- Press the ТАЙМЕР to set the current time and timer delay.
- When the LED display shows CLOCK, you can set the current time by pressing the ЧАС and МИН buttons to set the hours and minutes respectively.
- When the LED display shows TIMER, you can set the time of automatic startup delay by pressing the ЧАС and МИН buttons to set the hours and minutes respectively.
- You can adjust the flavor intensity of the coffee by choosing one, two or three coffee bean symbols by pressing the РЕЖИМ button.
- Press the button once to switch the appliance to the coffee-making mode. The appliance will turn off automatically 40 minutes after the coffee-making is over.
- Press the button twice to switch the appliance to the delayed start mode. The blue indicator light will go on and the appliance will start operating after the preset time is elapsed.
- Press the button three times to switch the appliance to standby mode.
MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- Ensure that the coffee maker has cooled down completely, then wipe the external surfaces with a dry cloth.
- Use mild detergents to remove contamination, do not use metallic brushes and abrasive detergents.
- Wash all removable with warm water with mild detergents, rinse, wipe dry, and reinstall.
- Do not submerge the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
- Do not place the coffee maker in a dishwasher.
SCALE REMOVAL
- Regularly remove the scale from the coffee maker.
- To remove the scale fill the water tank with a citric acid solution (25 to 30g of citric acid is required for 1 liter of water), or use a special descaling agent (according to the manufacturer’s instructions).
- Turn the appliance on and perform an operating cycle without putting in coffee.
- After all the descaling solution in the tank has been used up thoroughly rinse the coffee maker. To do this pour pure water into the tank without adding coffee and turn the appliance on. Repeat the cycle several times.
- Scale should be removed after every 300 working cycles of the coffee maker.

DISPOSAL

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months from the date of
sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card, the Manufacturer confirms
the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of
charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
- The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the appliance model, serial number, and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
- The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.

The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
- the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
- the safety rules and requirements are observed.

The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation, and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

mechanical damage;

normal wear of the appliance;

non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;

improper installation or transportation;

for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.

The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
