Pyle PDWM2700 Two Channel VHF Wireless Microphone System
We strongly suggest that you carefully study these instructions before attempting to operate the system. We also recommend that you keep this manual in a safe and handy place for future reference.
PRECAUTIONS
- Avoid exposure of the system to rain or moisture.
- No user-serviceable parts inside the system. Refer all servicing to qualified technicians only.
- Handle the wireless system carefully, dropping or other shocks may cause failure.
- Avoid using the system where it may be subjected to heat, such as direct sunlight near radiators or other heat sources.
- Should any liquid be spilled on the arrangement, stop using it immediately. It may be possible to dry the system, but you should have it checked by a qualified technician before using it again.
- Use the provided adapter only. Do not attempt to service or repair the device yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Do not attempt to modify the device in any way. Doing so could invalidate your warranty.
- Only use a tile system with the supplied components, do not attempt to use any other power supply adapter or microphone.
- If you don’t use the system for a long time, please remove the batteries from the microphone and unplug the receiver.
- Only replace the battery with the same or an equivalent type.
- Do not use any solvents to clean any part of the microphone system.
HANDHELD MICROPHONE
- Unscrew the battery cover at the end of the microphone. Install the provided 9-volt battery and then close the cover. Make sure to connect with the correct polarity.
- Move the power switch to the ON position. The power LED indicator will flash once and then go off. This indicates correct operation. If the power LED indicator lights are red, this indicates the battery is low. Please replace with a new battery.
- Move the power switch to the middle to mute the microphone.
- If the microphone is not going to be used for a long time, please take out the battery to prevent damage and battery leakage.
BODYPACK TRANSMITTER
- Slide up the battery cover in the front of the body pack as per the above sketch. Install the provided 9-volt battery and the battery cover. Make sure to connect with the correct polarity.
- Move the power switch to the ON position. The power LED indicator will flash once and then go off. This indicates correct operation. If the power LED Indicator lights are red, this Indicates the battery is low. Please replace with a new battery.
- Move the microphone switch to the middle to mute the microphone.
- Adjust the volume control to you gat the sufficient sound from your speaker.
- If the microphone is not going to be used for a long time, please take out the battery to prevent damage and battery leakage.
RECEIVER
- Switch on the wireless microphone receiver unit by pressing the POWER switch and the POWER light will illuminate to show the receiver unit Is working.
- Fully extend the antenna to the maximum length.
- Switch ON the transmitter. The power LED indicator will flash once the turned off. When the microphone is ON, the receiver RF indicator will light.
- Adjust the volume and tone levels of your amplifier system as well as the receiver & the body peck required.
- When the transmitter is not going to be used for a long time, please take out the battery from the transmitter.
Note that switching the microphone on and off can cause interference that will be heard if the microphone volume level of the amplifier system is still set high.
INSTALLATION
To connect the wireless microphone to your amplifier system:
- Refer to the above installation diagram.
- Using the supplied 6.35mm to 6.35mm lead, connect the AF OUT jack of the receiver to the MIC INPUT socket on your amplifier.
- Plug one end of the mains power adapter into a suitable electricity socket. Plug the other end of the adapter into the receiver DC 12V input socket.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Please read and check the following points before asking for service.
The wireless microphone does not work:
- Check the microphone battery by switching the microphone ON. If the power LED indicator lights are red, replace the battery.
- Check the POWER Indicator on the receiver unit Is ON. If not, check the power adapter if firmly plugged into a working electricity socket.
- Check if the amplifier system is ON and the microphone volume controls are set correctly.
- Check if the microphone jack lead is firmly connected to the output socket on the rear panel of the receiver unit and insert the MIC input socket on your amplifier.
The working range is limited:
- Check the microphone battery condition(see above)
- Check the antenna is fully extended. Adjust the position of the antenna to achieve the best reception.
- Check the settings of the microphone controls on the amplifier. Adjust the volume end tone to get the beat sound without any feedback.
