The range of RT28 walkie talkie is about 0.5 to 1.5 miles in urban densely
populated areas.
And about 0.5 to 2 miles in open areas/mountains,this range is just for
reference only.

weather, the operating environment, the battery level and other uncontrollable

How loud is the ear piece would these be good in a nightclub setting? Ie is the earpiece sesled enough so i could still hear people talking over music
I personally work private security in crowd situations and have been a bouncer in the past and the ear pieces would be horrible to hear with in a nightclub setting especially there is no wire that actually plugs in it is a tube that carries the sound through them and would highly recommend that you go a little bit more expensive than these and get the ones that have the plug in with wired headphones also these have horrible range especially when there’s walls in the way.
Are these water proof?

How do you adjust the vox sensitivity level? mine just comes on and stays on even in complete silence.

RT28 will emit sharp alarm sound when you press the alarm button; inform others once danger comes and ensure your safety. You can set the local emergency alarm by programming.

Usually it is 0.5-2 mile depend on the enviroment. If you use it in open area ,it will get longer range
What is the main difference between rt28 and h-777s? we have h-777s radios and we are trying to decide whether to buy more h-777s or try rt28
The battery of RT28 2 way radios is 1000,The battery of H-777S 2 way radios is 1100 mAh. RT28 two way radio has micro USB Charging Port to charge,H-777S radio need to charge by the charging base. RT28 walkie talkies can turn on /off VOX by Key combination directly,H-777S radio need to set the sidekey to be VOX by programming software first. RT28 walkie talkie has Alarm function,H-777S radio doesn’t have Alarm function.
Is there a charging base (single and/or gang) available for the rt28? It looks like there are terminals on the battery pack.
