They do not. They are very good but have no software to connect to any device. You just attach the antenna, choose the correct channel, and speak.
What is the effective range distance for two-way communication?
I’m not to sure on range distance but I could reach up 200+ft worked out great for me. I was told they could go up to 13acres.

If I buy two sets, will they need to be programmed for all 10 to be used with one another on the same channel?
No, each of the RT7 have been programmed to the same frequency, so if you buy two sets, they can work well with others out of the box.Please buy it with confidence,if you want to change the channel to the frequency you wish, you can program it, it is easy to operate.
Is the li ion battery an 18650? is it replacable with a higher capacity 18650, say 3400 mah, so would operate longer before needing recharge?

Can I use a repeater/relay box with these?
The radio is 400-470MHz and it can connect with analog repeater.You need to confirm whether they have the same frequency range,If they have the same frequency,you just need to program the analog repeater frequency to same with the radio.Then press the ptt button,if the radio can receive analog repeater signals,they will work well.
Do these have a clip so I can attach them to my collar or belt?
Yes they do have a belt clip. You will have to attach it because it comes unattached. But it is there.
What is the effective range?
The radio is 3W,and it can reached 0.5-2.5 miles, but please let me kindly inform you that the range will be effected by the terrain or environment,such as the building or mountain.But full of the power and program the frequency around 430 MHz will help you enlarge the range.If there anything need help ,please feel free to email us, we are always here for you.

You do not have too program them ,just pick a channel that you want to use and go for it.
Do you need to have a special license to operate? Or do they work out of the box?
These radios transmit at 3 watts. Maximum transmitting power for FRS operations is 500 milliwatts or 1/2 watt. Thus you would have to comply with GMRS rules (Title 47USC Part 95, go to CFR.gov) GMRS “shares” FRS frequencies. So you would require a GMRS license to transmit on FRS or GMRS frequencies (channels). Apply for license from FCC.gov, (FCC Form 605) there is a fee (mine was $70) no test, covers all “immediate family” down to in-laws. Also, the radio itself must be “FCC certified” under 47USCPart95subpartB, which I see nothing from the manufacturer or importer indicates it has.
Do these work in a building with thick walls and multiple floors?

Do you have to push to talk?
Yes there is a button to push in order to talk. Very easy to use and receives long distance.
Does it have a charger for charging in the vehicle?
No. The chargers are strictly used in electrical outlets. The packaging does not include an additional charger for charging in a vehicle.
