This device is compatible with the isle smart hub using the Zigbee protocol.
This device can also be used with 3rd party gateways supporting the Zigbee
protocol.
Installation Instructions
- Push to slide up the front cover then pull to expose the battery compartment.
- Install the provided batteries and replace the cover.
- Pair the sensor to the Zigbee network. (see pairing for detailed instructions)
- Remove the adhesive strip covers and affix the sensor in the desired location.
! Please Note:
Installing this device on a metal surface or thick stone/brick wall will
diminish the communication distance.
An installation height of 1.5m is recommended where possible.
Pairing Instructions
- Download and install the free Samsung SmartThings application.
- Install the device batteries.
- To place the device into pairing mode, use the tool provided to depress the reset button and hold until the LED flashes, approx. 5s.
(This will also erase any existing network settings)
Once paring mode has been initiated.
- Open the SmartThings app and select add device.
- Select isle from the manufacturer list section.
- Locate and select the isle sensor from the device list.
If pairing is unsuccessful, move the device closer to the Smart Hub.

The ESZB-01 is a Zigbee device designed to detect the following environmental metrics within the installed location in real time.

When connected to a Smart Home System you can create custom scenes to trigger operations of other connected devices.
