THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.
18. Notice for extension cord:

• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• If a long cord or extension cord is used:

1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
2. The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord; and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

The following basic precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances:

1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Make sure the voltage in your living area corresponds to the one shown on the rating label of the appliance. And the wall socket is properly grounded.
3. TO reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
   • DO not overcook the food.
   • Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bags in the oven.
   • Do not heat oil or fat for deep drying as the temperature of oil cannot be controlled.
   • After use wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth, followed by dry cloth to remove any food splashes and grease. Built-up grease may overheat and begin to cause smoke or catch fire.

4. TO reduce the risk of explosion and sudden boiling:
   • Do not place sealed containers in the oven. Baby bottles fitted with a screw cap or teat are considered to be sealed containers.
   • When boiling liquid in the oven, use the wide-mouthed container and stand about 20 seconds at the end of cooking to avoid delayed eruptive boiling of liquids.
   • Potatoes, sausage and chestnuts should be peeled or pierced before cooking. Eggs in their shell, whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
   • The cooked liquid should not be removed out immediately. Several moments should be waited before removing. To avoid possible hazards caused by delayed eruptive boiling of 1iquids.
   • The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars are to be stirred or shaken and the temperature is to be checked before consumption, to avoid burns.
5. Never operate the oven further if the door or door seals is damaged or the oven is malfunctioned or the supply cord is damaged. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for repair and maintenance. Never try to adjust or repair the oven yourself.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a qualified technician to avoid a shock hazard.
7. After cooking, the container is very hot. Use gloves to take out the food and avoid steam burns by directing steam away from the face and hands.
8. Slowly lift the furthest edge of the dish cover and microwave plastic wrap and carefully open popcorn and oven cooking bags away from the face.
9. TO prevent the turntable from breaking:
   • Let the turntable cool down before cleaning.
   • Do not place hot foods or utensils on the cold turntable.
   • Do not place frozen foods or utensils on the hot turntable.
10. Make sure the utensils do not touch the interior walls during cooking.
11. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
12. Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
13. Do not store food or any other things inside the oven.
14. Do not operate the oven without any liquid or food inside the oven. This would do damage the oven.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
16. When the appliance is operated in the combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the temperatures generated.

PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY

• Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
• Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
• Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door close properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.
• The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED BEFORE AND DURING SERVICING TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY

• Do not operate or allow the oven to be operated with the door open.

•  Make the following safety checks on all ovens to be serviced before activating the magnetron or other microwave source, and make repairs as necessary: (1) interlock operation,
  (2) proper door closing, (3) seal and sealing surfaces (arcing, wear, and other damage), (4) damage to or loosening of hinges and latches, (5) evidence of dropping or abuse.

• Before turning on microwave power for any service test or inspection within the microwave generating compartments, check the magnetron, wave guide or transmission line, and cavity for proper alignment, integrity, and connection.

• Any defective or misadjusted components in the interlock, monitor, door seal, and microwave generation and transmission systems shall be repaired, replaced, or adjusted by procedures described in this manual before the oven is released to the owner.

• A microwave leakage check to verify compliance with the Federal Performance Standard should be performed on each oven prior to release to the owner.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

WARNING – Improper use of the grounding can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded, and either:

1. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-blade grounding plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance, or
2. Do not use an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.

INSTALLATION

1. Take out all the packing. if there is a safe film over the oven, tear it off before Use. Check carefully for damage. If any, immediately notify the dealer or send to the manufacturer’s service center.
2. Microwave ovens must be placed under dry and non-corrosiveness environments, kept away from heat and humidity, such as gas burner or water tank.
3. To ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance of the back of the microwave to the wall should be at least 10 cm, the side to the wall should be at least 5 cm, the free distance above the top surface at least 20 cm. The distance of the microwave to the ground should be at least 85 cm.
4. The position of the oven shall be such that it is far from the TV, Radio or antenna as picture disturbance, or noise may occur.
5. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible, and must ensure a good grounding in case of leakage, a ground loop can be formed to avoid electric shock.
6. The microwave oven must be operated with the door closed.
7. The microwave oven shall not be placed in a cabinet.
8. The back of the oven must be placed against a wall.
9. As manufacturing residue or oil is remaining on the oven cavity or heat element, it usually would smell the odor, even a slight smoke, It is a normal case and would not occur after several times use, keep the door or window open to ensure good ventilation. So it is strongly recommended to place a cup of water in the turntable, setting at high power and operate for several times.

CLEANING

MICROWAVE OVEN CARE

CAUTION

The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed.

2. Remove the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning
3. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation
4. The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed
5. Details for cleaning door seals, cavities and adjacent parts.
6. Never use hard detergent, gasoline, abrasive powder or metal brush to clean any part of the appliance
7. Do not remove the waveguide cover
8. When the microwave oven has been used for a long time, there may be some strange odors in the oven, The Following 3 methods can get rid of them:
   • Place several lemon slices in a cup, then heat with high power for 2-3 min.
   • Place a cup of red tea in the oven, then heat with high power.
   • Put some orange peel into the oven, and then heat them with high power for 1 minute.

Turntable / Rotation ring / Rotation ax

• Wash with mild soap and water
• Rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly

LOCATION OF CONTROLS

1. Door Latches – When the door is closed, it will automatically lock shut. If the door is opened while the oven is operating, the magnetron will automatically shut off.

2. Door Screen – Allows viewing of food. The screen is designed so that light can pass through, but not the microwaves.

3. Roller Guide – Supports the glass cooking tray. Must always be in the proper position before operating the oven.

4. Rotating Axis/Coupler – The glass cooking tray (turntable) sits on the axis, which is coupled with the motor underneath to rotate the glass cooking tray.

5. Glass Cooking Tray (Turntable)
   – Made of special heat-resistant glass. The tray must always be in the proper position before operating the oven. Do NOT cook food directly on the tray.

6. Control Panel – The control buttons are shown on the right.

7. Spatter Shield (Waveguide Cover) (Do NOT remove) – Protects the microwave outlet from splashes of cooking foods.

9. AUTO COOK Button- Used to select an Auto Cook program.

10. TIME COOK Button – Used to set the cooking time (99 mins. 99 secs. max.)

11. POWER Button – Used to set a power level.

12. TIME DEFROST Button – Used to set the oven to estimate the defrosting time (max. 99 mins. 99 secs.) by the present time.

13. CLOCK Button – Used to set the clock function

14. Number Button – Used to enter the cooking time, kitchen timer, etc. Number buttons 1 to 6 are also used for the Express Cook function.

15. STOP/CLEAR Button – Used to stop and/or clear a cooking program.

16. START/+30SEC Button – Used to enter the cooking time or menu program. It automatically starts cooking for 30 seconds and increases +30 seconds whenever you press the button (up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds).

17. WEIGHT DEFROST Button – Used to set the oven to estimate the defrosting time by weight entered.

18. KITCHEN TIMER Button – Used to set the kitchen timer function.

Alert: Please clean the microwave oven often. Failure to do so may create a fire hazard and void the warranty.

OPERATION

SETTING THE CLOCK (12-hour format)
After the unit is connected to mains, the display shows a full test screen and then enters standby mode and displays 1:00.
To set the clock time, please follow the steps below:

1. In standby mode, press the CLOCK button to enter the clock setting process;
2. Press the Number button 0~9 directly to enter the clock time;
3. Press the START/+30SEC button to confirm the clock time and exit the clock setting process.

POWER LEVEL
Ten microwave power levels (100P, 90P, 80P, 70P, 60Р, 50P, 40Р, 30P, 20Р, 10P) are available for selection.

1. If full power (100P) is preferred for microwave cooking, press the TIME COOK button, and then press the Number buttons 0~9 to set the desired cooking time, which can be set as high as 99 minutes and 99 seconds (99:99); Press the START/+30SEC button to start cooking.
2. If a different power level is desired, Press the POWER button repeatedly to select the power level as indicated on the display, or, while in standby mode, press the POWER button to enter power level setting mode; press the Number button 1~10 correspondingly to the 10P~100P power level; press the TIME Cook button, and then press the Number buttons 0~9 to set the desired cooking time, that can be set as high as 99 minutes and 99 seconds (99:99);
3. After setting the cooking time, press the START/+30SEC button to start cooking. The oven beeps when cooking is completed.

WEIGHT DEFROST

1. Press the WEIGHT DEFROST button to select the Defrost by Weight function.
   The display will show “dEF 1” accordingly;

2. Press the Number buttons to set the food weight. The range of food weight that can be set is 4 to 98 ounces;

3. After selecting the food weight, press the START/+30SEC button to start defrosting. When Defrost by Weight “dEF1” is used, there is a beeping sound to prompt the food tope turn over during the defrosting process.
   And, beeps when defrosting is completed.

TIME DEFROST

1. Press the TIME DEFROST button to select Defrost by Time function. The display will show “dEF2” accordingly;
2. Press the Number buttons to set the defrosting time. The maximum time that dEF2 can be input is 99:99;
3. After selecting the defrosting time, press the START/+30SEC button to start defrosting. The oven will beep when defrosting is completed.

CAUTION

• It is necessary to turn over the food during operation to obtain the uniform defrosting effect.
• Usually defrosting will take a longer time than that cooking the food.
• If the food can be cut by a knife, the defrosting process can be considered complete.
• Microwave penetrates around 4cm into most food.
• Defrosted food should be consumed as soon as possible. It is NOT recommended to refreeze defrosted food.

AUTO COOK
There are six Auto Cook Menus buttons, namely Popcorn, Potato, Pizza, Frozen Vegetable, Beverage and Reheat. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1. In standby mode, select the desired auto-cook menu;
2. Press the corresponding Auto Cook Menu button to select the weight of the food shown on the display;
3. After selecting the food weight, press the START/+30SEC button to start cooking. The oven will beep after cooking is completed.

Auto Cook Menu Chart

CAUTION
The temperature, weight and shape of food will largely influence the cooking effect. If any deviation has been found to the factor noted on the above menu, you can adjust the cooking time for the best result.

KITCHEN TIMER
The kitchen timer can be operated as follows:

1. In standby mode, press the KITCHEN TIMER button to enter the kitchen timer setting process. The display shows the timer function icon and “0:00” at the same time;
2. Press the Number button 0~9 to enter the countdown time. The maximum countdown time that can be set is 99:99;
3. Press the START/+30SEC button to start the kitchen timer. When the countdown is completed, a buzzing sound can be heard.

TIME COOK
Ten microwave power levels (100P, 90P, 80P, 70P, 60P, 50Р, 40Р, 30Р, 20Р, 10P) are available for selection.

EXPRESS COOK
Express Cook feature allows users to quickly set the cooking time. There are two express cook-setting methods. The specific operation steps are as follows:
Method One:

1. In standby mode, directly press the Number buttons 1 to 6 to start the microwave, and the cooking time is 1 to 6 minutes respectively; that is, press 1 to cook for 1 minute, press 2 to cook for 2 minutes, and so on;
2. The oven will beep when cooking is completed.

Method Two:

1. In standby mode, after placing food and closing the door, press the START/+30SEC button to quickly start the microwave. The default cooking time is 30 seconds;
2. During the cooking process, each time you press the START/+30SEC button, 30 seconds will be added. The maximum time allowed for the START/+30SEC function is 99 minutes 59 seconds. The oven will beep when cooking is completed.

STOP/CLEAR

1. During the cooking setting process, you can press the STOP button to cancel the setting and resume to standby mode;
2. During cooking, you can press the STOP button to make a pause;
3. In the pause mode, you can press the STOP button again to cancel the function and resume to standby mode.

START/+30SEC

1. After setting the cooking time or food weight, press the START/+30SEC button to start cooking;
2. In the cooking state, press this button to increase the cooking time. Press it once to increase the cooking time by 30 seconds. However, the cooking time cannot be adjusted in the menu mode or the Defrost by Weight mode;
3. In the pause mode, press this button to let the microwave oven continue the previous cooking process.

CHILD LOCK
The Child Lock prevents unwanted oven operation by small children.

1. Locking method: In standby mode, press and hold the STOP button for 3 seconds, the child lock function is activated, and all buttons of the microwave oven are inoperable;
2. Unlocking method: In the child lock state, press and hold the STOP button for 3 seconds to release the child lock function;

CHILDPROOF TWO-STEP DOOR OPENING

Two-step door opening method:
There are two situations:

1. In the cooking state or after cooking is completed: the first step is to press the STOP button to pause the microwave cooking or resume to standby mode; the second step is to open the oven door.
2. When not in the cooking state or 30 minutes after cooking is completed: you can open the oven door directly.

The setting of the two-step door-opening function:

1. In standby mode, use your left thumb to press and hold the STOp button first, followed by your left index finger to press and hold the POWER button at the same time, until your right finger briefly presses the START/+30SEC button to turn this function on/off; the display will show “On” or “OFF” correspondingly.
   Note:

2. When this function is turned on, the oven door cannot be directly opened during cooking; a two-step door opening operation is required;

3. Turning off this function, you can directly open the oven door in any state;

COOKING TIPS

• The following factors may affect the cooking result:

Food arrangement

• Place thicker areas towards the outside of the dish, and the thinner part towards the center and spread it evenly. Do not overlap if possible.

Cooking time length

• Start cooking with a short time setting, evaluate it after it times out, and extend it according to the actual need.
• Overcooking may result in smoke and burns.

Cooking food evenly

• Food such as chicken, hamburger, or steak should be turned once during cooking.
• Depending on the type of food, if applicable, stir it from outside to the center of the dish once or twice during cooking.

Allow standing time

• After cooking times out, leave the food in the oven for an adequate length of time, this allows it to complete its cooking cycle and cool it down in a gradual manner.

Whether the food is done

Color and hardness of food help to determine if it is done, these include:

• Steam coming out from all parts of food, not just the edge
• Joints of poultry can be moved easily
• Pork or poultry shows no signs of blood

Browning dish

• When using a browning dish or self-heating container, always place a heat-resistant insulator such as a porcelain plate under it to prevent damage to the turntable and rotating ring.

Microwave-safe plastic wrap

• When cooking food with high-fat content, do not allow the plastic wrap to come into contact with food as it may melt

Microwave-safe plastic cookware

• Some microwave-safe plastic cookware might not be suitable for cooking foods with high fat and sugar content.
• Also, the preheating time specified in the dish instruction manual must not be exceeded.

SERVICING

Please check the following before calling for services.

1. Place one cup of water (approx.150ml) in a glass measure in the oven and close the door securely. The oven lamp should go off if the door is closed properly. Let the oven work for 1 min.

2. Does the oven lamp light?

3. Does the cooling fan work?
   (Put your hand over the rear ventilation openings.)

4. Does the turntable rotate?
   (The turntable can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. This is quite normal.)

5. Is the water inside the oven hot?

If “NO” is the answer to any of the above questions, please check your wall socket and the fuse in your meter box.
If both the wall socket and the fuse are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST SERVICE CENTER APPROVED.

• The following conditions may cause undue microwave exposure during servicing.
• Improper fitting of magnetron;
• Improper matching of door interlock, door hinge, and door;
• Improper fitting of switch support;
• The door, door seal, or enclosure has been damaged.

CAUTION

1. If the LED displays Err0 during working, it indicates that the sensor has been short-circuited and you need to replace it at the nearest repair department.
2. If the LED displays Err1 during working, it indicates that the sensor has been open circuit and you need to replace it at the nearest repair department.

If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person;
