QUICK START

1. Remove the machine from its packaging and remove the protective wrapping.

2. Remove the filter 12 and the starter pod 14 from the pods basket. SAVE THE STARTER POD, DON’T THROW IT AWAY!

3. Rinse the water tank 12 , the tank lid 6 and the filter M with tap water.

4. Place the filter 12 in the water tank 6 and fill the tank with fresh water then put it back in place.

5. Plug in the power cable 13 on a suitable earthed socket. The machine doesn’t have an ON/OFF switch.

6. The central light 2 will display 3 colours (blue, white and red), then go out. The machine is now on stand-by.

7. Press coffee button 3 or 4 to start heating (both coffee buttons flash).

8. When the machine is ready, the two coffee buttons 3 and 4 will stay ON.
   YOUR MACHINE IS READY FOR USE.

9. Place a container with a capacity of 0.5 l beneath the spout.
   RINSE BEFORE FIRST USE: DO NOT INSERT A POD

10. Pull on the machine handle 1 and Insert the starter pod 14 (no matter which way). Push the handle until completely closed.

11. Press the Large Coffee button 4. The light on the selected button will flash. Initial rinsing will start. Rinsing will stop automatically at the end of the cycle. Repeat the operations twice to finalise rinsing.

12. At the end of rinsing, raise the handle 1. the starter pod falls into the used pod basket 7. PICK UP THE STARTER POD AND SAVE IT!

13. Dispose of the liquid in the pod basket and the container. Put the pod basket back in place.
    YOUR MACHINE IS NOW READY FOR USE.

MAKING A COFFEE

1. Take a 1,2,3 Spresso® pod out of its packaging.
2. Insert it into the appropriate space.
3. Press the button for your chosen coffee. Once extraction is complete, the used pod is ejected automatically.

CUSTOMIZING THE COFFEE SIZES

Press and hold the coffee button for the volume you wish to change for at least 5 seconds. The white light on the button will then flash rapidly, and the central indicator will light up white. The machine is in programming mode:

Insert a pod. Press the coffee option to be programmed : the coffee cycle will begin. When the desired amount of coffee is reached, press the button concerned again: the new amount will be memorised by your machine. Repeat the same operation to set the second button.
 The maximum programmable amount is 14 cl.
Limescale can damage the machine. Please observe the descaling intervals in accordance with MALONGO’s instructions.

WARNING LIGHTS

Red flashing
Overheating. Plug out the socket. (Wait for 6 min so that the machine cools down, then plug it again)

Blue flashing
Replace the filter.
(Press the 2 coffee buttons simultaneously to turn off the flashing light.)

Orange flashing
Machine must be descaled.
