This Driver is only approved to use with the PAL 2 Wire LED lighting system.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This PC-2D Class 2 power supply is specifically designed to supply 12V D/C to power the PAL 2 Wire UL Listed LED Pool lights.
The PC-2D must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code by a Certified
Electrician or Qualified Pool Technician.
NOTE: No bonding is required from this Class 2 power supply to the UL Listed PAL Pool Light fixtures as they are made of an all plastic construction and comply with NEC article 680 requirements.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PC-2D OUTDOOR DRIVER
Step 1. The PC-2D Class 2 Power Supply is a Weatherproof construction (IP65) and should be mounted on a flat surface using the mounting holes on the enclosure in a suitable position to suit the intended location of the PAL 2 Wire LED Pool Lights and installed to comply with all the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all relevant local codes and ordinances.
Step 2. The Driver Enclosure must be located a minimum distance of 5 feet measured horizontally from the inside wall of the pool and not less than 1 foot above the maximum pool water level measured to the top of the Driver Enclosure.
NOTE: Located on the bottom of the enclosure is two Pilot holes for conduit entry. These must be drilled out using a 7/8” hole saw and fitted with 1/2“ PVC Electrical conduit adaptors. Please take care when drilling not to drill into the terminal block inside.
Please make sure the unit is NOT TURNED ON when drilling out pilot holes for conduit entry.
Step 3. Using the conduit entries at the bottom of the PC-2D (as shown) Connect the 2 core wire from the PAL 2 WIRE LED LIGHTS.
Please ensure the 2 cores are connected to the correct terminals. 2 x output conduit entries are provided in the enclosure to connect up to 2 x PAL-LED 2 Wire Pool Lights fitted with LAU-2D LED Lamps
Step 4. The PC-2D Driver / Receiver should be factory set to operate with the PCT-3 Transmitter supplied. Just fit the 2 x batteries supplied with the PCT-3. Please refer to the information supplied with the PCT-3 transmitter for full operating instructions and features of the system.
Step 5. Using the STJW 18 AWG power cord connect the 100-120V power supply to the NEC code requirements.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PC-2D RGB OUTDOOR DRIVER
Step 1. The PC-2D Driver is a Weatherproof construction (IP65) and should be mounted in a suitable position to suit the intended location of the PAL 2 WIRE LED LIGHTS, and mounted a minimum of 1 foot above the ground level and preferably not in direct sunlight.
Step 2. Connect the 2 core wire from the PAL 2 WIRE LED LIGHTS to the driver as shown. Please ensure the 2 cores are connected to the correct terminals.
Step 3. Your PC-2D Receiver/Driver should be factory coded to the PCT-3 Transmitter supplied. Full operational Details & Features are detailed on the instruction information supplied with the PCT-3.

Note 1:
The PC-2D is suitable for PAL lights fitted with LAU-2D LED Lamps ONLY Maximum
Driver Output 16 watt version – 1 to 2 lights 35 watt version – 1 to 6 lights
55 watt version – 1 to 10 lights
Note 2:
2 x UL Listed conduit adaptors to connect the 2 wire pool lights are required
with the PC-2D.
Note 3:
An unlimited number of drivers can be controlled by one transmitter.
Note 4:
A maximum number of 4 x Transmitters can be coded to an individual PC-2D
Channel Selection
Factory Set both outputs operate off CH. 1 on the PCT-3
To change the output channel selection the switch location can be changed to select CH. 2 on one or both outputs
