Installation Guide

Ceiling Mount

  1. Loose the screws and rotate the base to the position of the arrow and remove it from the tail line.

  2. Mark the position of the screw holes with a pen to determine the position of the mounting screw holes on the ceiling.

  3. Drill the holes in the determined position and drive the expansion screw into it.

  4. Insert the base into the tail line and lift it with the camera, then insert the screw into the expansion screw.

  5. Place the three rounds at the bottom of the PTZ camera at 1,2,3 and then turn left to the far left.

Wall Mount

  1. Place the camera in a fixed position first, and mark the screw hole with a marker, use a tool such as a drill to drill holes in the marked screw holes.

  2. After screwing the hole, insert the plastic expansion bolt into the screw hole.

  3. Loosen the 3 screws used to fix the camera.

  4. Align the screw hole on the bottom of the camera bracket with the hole on the wall screw in the screw to fix the camera bracket.

  5. Tighten the 3 screws used to fix the camera, the installation is completed.

APP Installation and Download

  1. Scan the QR code to download “CamHipro” APP.

  3. Register an Account

Use a phone number/E-mail to register an account

During the process of registering an account, please keep the language of the mobile phone system consistent with the country or region where the registration phone number belongs, otherwise an error will be reported. when after the account was registered, you can set a language you need)

WiFi Connection

Note:

  1. When first connection, whether it is WiFi connection or POE connection, the mobile phone needs to be connected to Local router WIFI.
  2. Ensure that the mobile phone and the camera are on the same local routerWIFI network, so that the mobile phone can be connected to the camera.

    3. The WIFI camera only support 2.4G network.
    4. In order to have a more stable network environment, please configure the camera within
    5 meters from the router.

Auto Configure Network

  1. Click on the “CamHipro” APP.

  2. Click on ( Add Camera > IP Camera > New device> Power is on.next step).

  3. Click on “Not connected to the network cable”.

  4. Choose camera type “AP distribution network equipment” and click on “Go add”, then scan the QR code on the camera.

  5. Click “Join” and wait for connecting.

  6. Fill with the WIFI password and wait for configuration.

  7. Set a new name for the camera and click ‘confirm”.

  8. The screen showed “Online” means the camera is connected.

  9. Set a new password for the camera.

  10. Setting completed.

Manually Configure Network

  1. 1. If you failed to join the network in Auto Configure Network(Step5), please choose “Manual distribution network”/ “ADD Manully” and turn on the mobile phone setting to connect the device named “IPr.AM-XXXXX”.

  2. Back to the “Camhipro” APP, click on (Add to > Configure wireless and add devices)

  3. Finished connection and set a new name and a new password for the camera.

  4. Setting completed.

POE Connection / Net Connection

Note:

  1. Only products that support POE/Network cable connection.

  2. POE connection: POE switch (not included) is connected to the camera by connecting a network cable.

  3. Net Connection: Connect the camera’s network port with a network cable from your home router, and you need to access the power supply to keep the camera in the LAN, but you don’t need a PoE switch to avoid excessive voltage and burn out the camera.

  4. Make sure that the router to which the camera is connected and the WIFI to which the phone is connected must be on the same LAN, otherwise the connection will not be successful.

  5. Click the “CamHipro” APP.

  6. Click on (Add Camera> IP Camera> New device> Power is on, next step> Connected network cable> AP Go add> “Camera” UID)

    UID number: manually enter the camera’s number ID format, e.g. 55″” – ””‘””‘ – “”‘””‘* (please note the upper and lower case letters)The initial password is: “admin” ,lf the camera’s UID number does not appear, please click on “Refresh”.

Note:

Confirmation and settings after connection. l>!olindlbl-=etowld? The default value is “Camera”, you can change the name and click “Confirm”. When you click on the camera to preview it, you will be prompted to change the password for the first time, so follow the steps to change it.

FAQ

Ql: Is the device not online?

Al: 1) The router disabled MAC address and IP address filtering CamHiPro IE Web Page Operation Video
2) If it is a dual-band router, it needs to use 2.4GWi-Fi and does not support 5GWi-Fi.
3) Wi-Fi account password only contains numbers and letters, no horizontal characters and other special characters are allowed.

02: The search tool can~ find the camera IP address
A2: 1) Please use a network cable to connect the camera and computer to the router instead of wifi.
2) Make sure to use it in the LAN.

Q3: The app prompts that the password is wrong
Al: The camera password is incorrectly entered or forgot the password. Press and hold the reset button for 5-8 seconds and then reset the camera.

Q4: How to add the camera to the third party software
A4: Please use the onvif protocol and modify the server port to 8080

Q5: RTSP Path Example:

Q6: Camera IP address often changes
A6: 1) Login to web version and go to the camera setting, change the automatic IP address to manual setting.
2) The IP address which automatically obtained will vary depending on the IP address assigned by your router’s □ HCP.

Q7: Can’t identify the memory card?
A7: 1) Reinsert the SD card into the camera, power off and restart the camera.
2) SD card brands recommended to use: SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung, Toshiba, PNY Bianwei, Lexar.

QB: How to install the web plug-in?
AB: l)You can use IE browser and need to download the ActiveX plug-in. You can also use Google browser and need to install the IETAB plug-in.
2)If the computer version is too high to use the IE browser, in the browser settings, click the “Default browser” option on the left, and then turn on the “Allow websites to reload in Internet Explorer mode” switch on the pop-up page. Then restart the browser, and the IE mode can be opened.

Q9: Can~ play back remotely on phone APP?
A9: 1) Check to see if the device can preview in real time!
2) Click the gear symbol to enter the setting —- Click on the SD card, check if it can read the SD card.
3) Can preview the real-time picture normally, Can read the information of memory card, but no playback of files in video playback, recommend to unplug and plug the SD card again.
4) Because the remote playback of the video file is relatively large, Networks do not support remote playback of network traffic! Recommend to connect your phone to a faster Wi-Fi,(if available )then try remote playback.

Q10: The camera can be reviewed in the LAN ,but can’t remotely viewed outside
A10: 1) The camera may be connected to your local area network without connecting to your router’s external network, no network access! It is recommended to check if the router has set this camera IP to prohibit network access.
2)Restore factory settings, reset the router Wi-Fi and reconnect.

Q11: Mailbox alarm can’t receive pictures
All: 1) The motion detection mailbox alarm supports most mailboxes such as Google and Yahoo. If you do not receive an email reminder, please check whether the mailbox settings are set according to the instructions and whether they pass the test.
2) Part of the alarm information may be judged as spam by the mailbox, which can be found in the trash box of the mailbox or the delay in sending emails due to data congestion on the network server, etc.
3) If the test is successful, but the alarm email still cannot be received, it is recommended to modify the □ NS to Google 8.8.8.8 or the local NS.

Q12: How to use the computer client HiP2P?
A12: 1) The default login password is empty.
2) The camera must be connected to the external network.

Q13: Can’t connect to Optical Modem Wi-Fi router?
A13: Recommend to use Wireless router, Some Optical Modem with Wi-Fi router has some kind of restriction, Cause the device can’t connect to the wireless signal or no network transmission on the connection.

Q14: Can’t the camera connect to Wi-Fi?
A14: 1) When the camera is configured, the phone and camera are no more than 3 meters away from the router!
2) Router Wi-Fi can’t be hidden or MAC address bound, or limited!
3) Wi-Fi account password only contains numbers and letters, no special characters, such as horizontal lines.

Q15: Unable to connect to the network?
A15: If you are unable connect the camera to the network several times. Please long press the reset button for 5-8 seconds ,then connect it again.
