MANUAL
Wall-mounted air blow-out and intake device
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
- For the blow-out and intake of air by ventilation units through the wall
- The size of the air blow-out opening can be adjusted. The initial speed of the blow-out air is 5 m/s, with a pressure loss of even less than 20 Pa.
- The handedness can be changed.
- The air blow-out part and the air intake grille can also be installed separately.
- With the rated airflow, the share of the blow-out air in the outdoor airflow is 0%.
- The ability to separate rainwater is > 96.6% in case of the air blow-out part and or 100% in case of the air intake grille (EN 13030).
- Reliable also in low outdoor temperatures.
- Patented 1915860.2-1008, Eurofins Certificate No EUFI29-20005601-C.
- Easy and quick to install.

Number of the adjusting cones
Adjustment of the air blow-out opening
- The minimum airflow (dm³/s) that enables the initial speed of 5 m/s has been marked on the adjusting cones (7 pcs).
- Push the mounting screw of the cones through the air blow-out grille. Install a cone for the mounting screw that enables the initial speed of 5 m/s. Next, install all smaller cones in the order of their size.
- Fasten the cones into a compact bundle with the mounting screw (do not fasten too tight). Keep any extra cones for later use.
Removing the air blow-out grille
- Free the mounting claws of the air blow-out grille with a screwdriver and pull the air blow-out grille out.
Installation
- Cut the air blow-out and outdoor air duct so that it is level with the exterior surface of the wall. Seal the feed-throughs, so that water flowing down the wall surface cannot enter the wall structures. In both ducts, the condensate insulation (minimum 19 mm) must extend to the exterior surface of the exterior wall. Depending on the thickness of the condensate insulation, the diameter of the hole for the blow-out air duct through the exterior wall must be at least 200 mm. Depending on the thickness of the condensate insulation, the diameter of the hole for the blow-out air duct through the exterior wall must be at least 40 mm larger than the diameter of the duct.
- Fasten the mounting plate on the wall structure so that it is horizontally level by using appropriate screws (not included in the delivery). Observe handedness!
- Place the claws at the top of the air intake grille behind the top edge of the mounting plate.
- Fasten the air intake grille with two M5x12 screws (included in the delivery).
- Push the air blow-out part into the air blow-out duct and fasten it in place with four M5x20 screws (included in the delivery).
- Ensure that the right number of cones have been mounted on the air blow-out grille. Fasten the air blow-out grille on the air blow-out part so that the mounting claws become locked.
Installation example
NOTE: Do not install the air blow-out part immediately underneath eaves or other overhangs! See the figure.
- The minimum distance of the air blow-out part from eaves or other overhangs is the same as the depth of the overhang.
