KAT Walk Coord 2 Unpacking and Installation Guide
Place MT Walk Coord 2 on a carpet or take other measures to protect the floor.
Wear protective gloves throughout the entire procedure (Free pair included in
the toolbox). I Installation steps that only apply to the KAT Walk Coord 2+
(premium version) are marked with a separate notice and do not need to be
completed by the owners of the MT Walk Coord 2 (non-premium version).
Remove the covers. Items in the box should be organized as in the picture.
Find protective gloves in the tool box and put them on, then take out all the
other boxes as shown. Refer to the packing list for details.
Take out the base (39kg) and place it on flat surface with the cable facing
the computer. Connect the power cord to a socket and the USB cable to the PC.
Download and install MT Gateway (https://www.kat-vr.com/pages/support). Pair
the sensors (follow the instructions in MT Gateway) and fully charge.
Mount the inner sensor on the back-
support plate (List: No. 19 screws).
Mount the storage hooks (List: No. 19
screws) and insert the supporting rods into the rod openings on the base.
(ONLY FOR C2+: Lift the rubber cover on the bottom). Slightly lift the rods to
align the screw openings. Insert screws with gaskets (List: No. 1S gaskets,
No. 17 screws). Temporarily, do not tighten.
Align the connection plate (mind its
direction) with the screw-holes on the supporting rods. Install
thegasketsandcapnuts, usethe5mm hexagon wrench to hold the screws and tighten
the nuts (List No.11, No.13).
Now, tighten the bottom screws (ONLY FOR 0+: Push the rubber cover back
down). Note: Tighten well to avoid safety hazards.
Locate the height indicator on the back
support corresponding with your body height. When mount -ing the device, push
forwa -rd and firmly pull itdown to ensure it reaches the lowest position in
the socket.
Pull out the safety pin, step on the platform facingthe rods. Mount the
support plate on the upper bolts of the connecting plate (According to your
height).
Tighten the screws with screwdriver,
then tighten the nuts with wrench. Insert the safety pin back completely.
Note: Tighten well to avoidsafety hazards. Ensure the harness logo faces up,
remove the bolt heads, align the bolts with the centerof longslot of the back
plate. ‘ Bolt position can be adjusted to counteract the rotation deviations
effect caused by uneven ground level.
Install the bolt heads. Get onto the
platform, fasten up and try squattingtotest whether the harness position
iscomfortable. Note: Misaligned or loosen screws will affect the device
operation.
Insert screws into the two top openings
on the back support outer shell. Pick it up, align with the back support,
press, and tighten the top screws. Then, install and tighten the bottom screws
(List: No.18 screws).
Cut the cable ties, then place the
eight base stabilizing feet on the bottom of the base and fixthem with screws.
(List: No.15 gaskets, No. 16 screws). Note: Tighten well to avoid safety
hazards.
All screws mus be tightened very firmly, especially in the marked crucial
steps. Failure to do so may result in potential safety hazards or affect the
experience.

The paired sensor with L light on corresponds with the leftshoeandviceversa.
The dedicated shoes must not be used on any othersurface than on the C 2
platform.
Insert the sensors into the sockets on
the sole of the corresponding shoes. Note: Before using the
device,ensurethesurface of the shoe sensor is clean andfreeofdustlf needed,
usethe brush.
The sensors must be installed exactly
as shown in the previous step. Incorrect mounting of the sensors will affect
the sensors operation. If needed, use a flat-head screwdriver to pryoff the
sensor.
The shoe friction is adjustable. We
recommend “VRVETERAN”fordailyuse. Usethe “NOVICE” when for the time on the
platform. Donot usethe maintenance oil for friction adjustment
Before getting on or when sensors enter sleep mode (inactive 30min), click the
main button and shake the shoes.
Check the sensor light: Flashing: no connection Constant: successful
connection None: sleep mode/ no power.
Hang the HMD and controllers on the
storage hooks. Ensure the anti-slip protection lock is enabled and the base
surface is clean. Equip a pair of kneepads and step onto the platform.

22 STRAPPING IN
Adjust the waist harness to a position at which the belts closely fit the
thinnest part of your waist. Starting with the left one, stretch the inner
belts and firmly fasten. Ensure the Velcro is well-aligned.

outer belts to tighten the harness, firmly fasten them on your waist making
sure the Velcro is well-aligned.
Buckle up and adjust the buckle belt to a comfortable length.
Stand straight with feet at the back as
shown. Lean forward a little bit till you start to feel the shoe wheels
started rolling, then take the first step and slowlycontinue for practice.
Practice walking for a few minutes until you get used to the simulated gait.
Put on the HMD and calibrate – look
forward and reach back to press the main button (repeat at any time If the
walking direction is incorrect). Once complete, you’re set to go! Calibration
can be also carried out in Gateway- Press the System Button on the controller,
open Gateway via MT icon in SteamVR dashboard.
25 GETTING OFF
Before getting off, enable the anti -slip lock. Press the silver buttons on
side of the buckle to open it.
26 CHARGING
Align thechargingconnectorswell and charge the sensors (if the connector
rotates it may not be able to maintain the connection). * Flashing Shoe Sensor
Light / Dimming Inner Sensor Light indicates charging.
The device can only be used for
personal VR entertainment, and must not be applied for any other purposes.
Avoid excessive use. The device has been strictly tested to ensure full safety
and protected from flipping under normal conditions of use.
However, if any sudden, large movement caused a large tilt of the device, do
not keep purposely repeating or aggreviating it in order to avoid safety
hazards.
