The RCS Hy-Q-52 is a high accuracy hydraulic scale designed for use with forklift trucks and reach trucks. It features a user-friendly 5 touch display that provides intuitive guidance to the user. Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

Ensure the truck mast is in good condition to guarantee the specified tolerance.
Install the RCS Hy-Q-52 hydraulic scale on the forklift truck or reach truck.
No manifold block is required for installation, making it easy and cost-efficient.
Consider the use of rotators and/or clamps in combination with the scale.

Calibration:

Access the optimal calibration menu on the user-friendly 5 touch display.
Follow the intuitive guidance provided on the full-color touch display to calibrate the scale.

Usage:

Perform manual zero correction or enable self-learning zero correction.
Choose between gross and net weighing modes as required.
Store up to 10 tare values in the memory for quick reference.
Enter ID-codes and preset codes for identification purposes.
Utilize the 10 totalizing registers for keeping track of cumulative weights.
Take advantage of the internal clock for date and time functions.
Connect a printer via the RS232 port or use the USB output for data transfer (including connecting a bar-code scanner).
Check the overload indication on the display based on actual hydraulic pressure.
If an error occurs, an error message will be displayed, including logging for reference.

HOW RCS HY-Q-52 WORKS

The metal strip with the two magnet sensors has to be mounted on the mast to measure the lifting and lowering speed of the carriage plate. When the carriage plate passes the trajectory between the two sensors, the indicator samples the hydraulic pressure output of the sensor approximately 1,000 times and calculates an average value. The weighing will be done UP and DOWN: the load is lifted, and then lowered, passing the two sensors within a predefined speed bandwidth.
If the RCS HY-Q-52 is installed on a reach truck (or stacker truck) where the hydraulic pump is used for re-generating power during lowering, the menu and calibration should be set to weighing in UP-mode only.
