Product Information

The Slide & Play Piano PhoneTM is a toy phone designed to encourage babies to explore and learn through interactive play. It features 14 pretend apps that introduce concepts like weather, music, first words, and animal friends. The phone has an On/Off switch, a light-up touch screen, and a mode switch that allows you to switch between App mode and Piano mode. In App mode, your baby can touch the apps to learn and play with numbers, counting, and weather. In Piano mode, they can play the piano keys and create their own music.

Warning

Please discard all packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords, and packaging screws for your child’s safety.

Attention

Please unlock the packaging locks by rotating them counterclockwise and pulling them out.

Product Usage Instructions

Battery Removal and Installation

  1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
  2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit and use a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
  3. Open the battery cover.
  4. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
  5. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. We recommend using alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries for best performance.
  6. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it.

Product Features

  1. On/Off Switch: Slide the On/Off Switch to the On position to turn the unit on and hear sounds, phrases, and a song. Slide it to the Off position to turn the unit off.
  2. Mode Switch: Slide the Mode Switch left or right to switch between App mode and Piano mode.
  3. Automatic Shut-Off: To preserve battery life, the Slide & Play Piano PhoneTM will automatically shut off after approximately 60 seconds without input. Slide the Mode Switch to turn it on again.

Activities

  1. Learning Apps: In Phone mode, touch the 14 apps to learn about numbers, counting, weather, and more. The apps also act as phone keys to dial numbers and call animal friends. Slide your finger from app to app to create fun light patterns.
  2. Piano App: In Piano mode, touch the animal icons to hear their names, playful phrases, short tunes, and sounds. Tap on the piano keys to play piano notes. When a melody is playing, touch the keys to hear the melody play note by note. The lights will flash with the sounds.

Please ensure that you remove the Try-Me tag from the back of the product before proceeding with normal play. If the unit powers down or the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries.

WARNING

NOTE

Unlock the Packaging Locks

  1. Rotate the packaging locks counterclockwise several times.
  2. Pull out the packaging locks and discard.

GETTING STARTED

Battery Removal and Installation

  1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
  2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover.
  3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
  4. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
  5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

WARNING:

Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

  • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:

  • Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  1. On/Off Switch
    To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off Switch to the On position. You will hear sounds, phrases and a song. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off Switch to the Off position.

  2. Mode Switch
    Switch between App mode and Piano mode by sliding the Mode Switch left or right.
    NOTE
    Ensure that the screen is not positioned between the two modes. Position the slider completely to the right or the left to guarantee the best use of the toy.

  3. Automatic Shut-Off
    To preserve battery life, the Slide & Play Piano Phone™ will automatically shut off after approximately 60 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by sliding the Mode Switch.

NOTE

This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After opening the package, make sure the Try-Me tag is removed from the back of the product, and then turn the unit off and on again to proceed with normal play. If the unit powers down or the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
  2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
  3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
  4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

  1. Please turn the unit Off.
  2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
  3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
  4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
  5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
