Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a weekday alarm that goes off twice?

I’ve set my alarm for both the week and Saturday. I believe I read or saw something regarding the ability to choose the day for the second alarm to go off (week or weekend) I hope I was helpful, but I’m not positive.

Are the alarm and clock battery-operated? We frequently experience power outages, therefore I require a reliable clock?

Although I haven’t had to use battery backup, the alarms should function if batteries keep the clock operating.

Will the loudness of the Welgo radio alarm go up further?

My volume doesn’t change; it stays where I put it.

What’s going on with my Welgo radio-controlled clock?

Try to wind the clock. Most radio-controlled clocks have an integrated antenna that is made to pick up the signal best whether it is aimed directly at or away from Anthorn. Some clocks have a signal strength metre to help you find the best reception. If you can, change the location of your clock.

What does DST on a Welgo clock represent?

The clock display changes to reflect DST as it is displayed on the screen (summer time). To stop the daylight saving time (summer time) change, press and hold DST once more for more than 3 seconds.

How are Welgo clocks constructed?

The operation of a clock is under the control of a unique integrated circuit. A counter counts the minutes and seconds, a quartz crystal provides the cycle, a series of dividers translates the minutes and seconds to seconds, and a final circuit manages the led display, alarm, and special features. It is hardwired, thus it cannot be reprogrammed.

Which is it on my alarm—AM or PM?

The digital clock will show the time in 12-hour format with a dot in the upper left corner of the screen to indicate that it is now PM and without a dot when it is AM.

What sets pm apart from am?

The letters AM and PM stand for Ante meridiem and Post meridiem, respectively, denoting morning or early afternoon and before noon. Between midnight and noon, the first 12-hour period is referred to as AM, and between noon and midnight, the second 12-hour period is referred to as PM.

Do you utilize dots and 24-hour time?

Midnight is represented by both 00:00 and 24:00 on a 24-hour clock. In a particular time frame, 00:00 marks the start of the day and 24:00 marks its end.

What does a 12-hour clock go by?

The 12-hour clock divides a day’s 24 hours into two equal portions. The two portions are known as ante meridiem (a.m.) and post meridiem (p.m.).

What is the source of the signal used by Welgo radio-controlled clocks?

An atomic clock in a specific location sends a signal to a radio within a radio-controlled clock. The signals picked up by radio-controlled clocks in the US originate from the nearby Fort Collins, Colorado, NIST Radio Station WWVB.

What is the format for system time?

System time is used to display the date and time. The system keeps track of time, so your programmes may simply access accurate time. Coordinated universal time is used to create system time (UTC). It is accepted that the time and date at Greenwich, England, are based on UTC.

How does a Welgo radio alarm clock work?

It resembles a typical electronic clock or watch but contains two additional parts: a circuit for decoding radio signals and an antenna for picking up radio signals. The circuit determines the correct time using the radio signals and modifies the time that is displayed on the clock or watch accordingly.

What is inside an Welgo alarm clock radio?

The term for it is electromagnetic induction. The current flow in this coil is induced by this coil. In any case, the wire and cable here will carry the electricity to the alarm clock.

Why do we need Welgo alarm clocks?

Alarm clocks can be useful for maintaining regular sleep schedules. Our internal biological clocks benefit from waking up at roughly the same time each day. An alarm clock might help you maintain a regular schedule and normalize your sleep patterns.
