Product Information
Portico LED Lights
- Lights require a 12-volt DC power supply.
- Choose an adequately rated power supply based on the power consumption of installed lights.
- For use only with low voltage 12-volt DC power source.
- Disconnect all power before installing.
- Wire runs inside walls must be installed in accordance with national and local electrical codes, low voltage Class 2 circuit.
- Use properly certified CL2 or better cabling.
- Do not install low-voltage wiring in the same wire run as AC power.
- If AC and low-voltage wires cross, keep them at 90-degree angles.
- Use only insulated staples, plastic ties or clips to secure wires.
- Route and secure wires so they will not be pinched or damaged.
- Failure to observe polarity or shorting of wires may damage the LED lights.
- Portico LED lights are for recess mounting only, so a hole will need to be drilled based on the model used.
Product Usage Instructions

- Disconnect all power before installing.
- Install wire runs inside walls in accordance with national and local electrical codes, low voltage Class 2 circuit. Use properly certified CL2 or better cabling.
- Do not install low-voltage wiring in the same wire run as AC power. If AC and low-voltage wires cross, keep them at 90-degree angles.
- Use only insulated staples, plastic ties or clips to secure wires. Route and secure wires so they will not be pinched or damaged.
- Drill a hole based on the model used for recess mounting only.
- To connect lights to a dimmer, power supply or another light, insert the male lead into a female connector, making sure it is aligned properly with the indexing cutout. Screw together once fully inserted.
- Observe polarity and avoid shorting of wires to prevent damage to the LED lights.
- If you are unclear about how to install and wire this device, contact a qualified electrician.
