The infusion of Argan, Coconut & Aloe Vera Oils + Keratin Ceramic-Ionic helps bring out the full beauty of your hair.

Product Usage Instructions

Before Using
Prior to using the Nourishology Volume Air Styler, please ensure that your hair has been washed, conditioned, and dried as normal. Make sure your hair is combed through and tangle-free. For best results, your hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp (not wet) when using the styler.

Operating Instructions

  1. Plug your hot air styler into a suitable power outlet (230-240V~) and place it on a heat protective, flat level surface.
  2. Divide your hair into sections, approximately 3cm – 5cm wide, depending on your hair type, length, and thickness. The number of sections will vary based on the amount of hair you have. For hair of average thickness, create a top and bottom section by parting your hair from ear to ear. Clip the top section out of the way. Part the bottom section roughly down the middle and bring each side in front of your shoulders. You will work on each side separately.
  3. Select the desired heat setting based on your hair type and preference.
  4. The oval-shaped barrel allows for two different styling processes:
    • a) Wrap & release from the ends: Place the brush at the roots of a hair section, wrap the hair around the barrel, and hold for a few seconds before releasing. Repeat this process for each section.
    • b) Blow-out boost from the roots: Place the brush at the roots of a hair section, twist the switch to the cool setting, and hold in place for a few seconds to help set your style.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Wash, condition & dry your hair as normal.
Ensure your hair is combed through & tangle-free. Hair should be clean & dry, or slightly damp when using rollers – never wet.

  1. Plug your hot air styler into a 230-240V~ suitable power outlet & place on a heat protective, flat level surface.

  2. Divide your hair into sections, between 3cm – 5cm wide depending on your hair type, length & thickness. The number of sections will depend on how much hair you have. For hair of average thickness, part your hair from ear to ear, creating a top & bottom section. Clip the top section out of the way. Roughly part the bottom section down the middle, bringing each side in front of your shoulders. You’ll work on each side separately.

  3. To turn on, twist the power switch to the heat setting suitable for your hair type. There are 2 heat settings, plus a cool setting:

  4. Twist the switch to the high heat setting (II) if you have medium to thick hair

  5. Twist the switch to the low heat setting (I) if you have delicate, fine, bleached or coloured hair

  6. Twist the switch to the cool setting. Use the cool setting on warm hair to set your style.

  7. The oval-shaped barrel allows you to use 2 different styling processes:
Wrap & release from the ends, or; Blow-out boost from the roots.
To use the wrap & release from the ends process:

  8. Take a section of hair that’s approximately 3cm wide. Place the oval brush at your ends & holding the end of the attachment, roll the brush up the length of your hair until the barrel is at your roots, wrapping the hair around the brush in the process.

  9. Wait 10 to 20 seconds, then slowly wind the brush downward, unraveling your hair in the process.

  10. Continue to repeat the wrapping & releasing process on all layers & sections of hair.

  11. For longer lasting results, after approx. 15 seconds of holding the oval brush in the hair section, twist the switch to the cool setting & hold in place for a further few seconds to help set your style.
To use the blow-out boost from the roots process:

  12. Take a section of hair that’s approximately 3cm wide. Place the oval brush near the root, under the hair section & brush away from the head while gently rotating. This will create professional like volume.

  13. Take about 10 seconds on each hair section.

  14. Continue to repeat for all layers & sections of hair. For more curve, wrap the hair around the barrel & hold for a few seconds.

  15. For longer lasting results, after approx. 10 seconds of holding the oval brush in the hair section, twist the switch to the cool setting & hold in place for a further few seconds to help set your style.
NB: E.g. As you do this, it is important to resist the rotation of the brush by pulling the brush downwards. The brush should be rotating through the section of your hair without the hair becoming wound round the brush head (if you are holding the styler with the correct tension against the hair).

  16. After use, twist the switch to the (0) position to switch off & unplug the power.

Allow styler to cool before storing.

HOW TO STYLE WITH THE NOURISHOLOGY VOLUME AIR STYLER

  • STRAIGHT
Create a smooth straight look by dividing your hair into sections & slowly glide down the hair section & curl under to smooth the hair cuticle.

  • VOLUME
Create tousled natural-looking waves for that finished touch, by loosely wrapping the sections around the brush. For more more bounce in your waves tightly wrap the hair sections for longer. Once air-styled, finger comb to arrange your hair as required.

  • EXPERT TIP
Set your style with the cool shot setting & finish with a spritz of light hold hair spray, for extra hold if needed.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the styler to overheat. The rear filter should be checked & cleaned on a regular basis – to help maintain optimum performance & prevent overheating.
Unplug the styler & allow to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

  • Holding the handle of your styler firmly, twist to open the rear filter at the base of the styler.
  • Using a soft brush, clean any hair & other debris that may build up in the filter.
  • Replace the rear filter by twisting back into position

If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the styler or the heat off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the styler or heat turns off, unplug the cord & allow the styler to cool for 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure the air vents are 100% clean.
