Product Information
The CD Boombox is a portable audio device that allows you to play CDs and listen to FM radio. It features a compact design with a built-in speaker and a carry handle for easy transport. The boombox is equipped with safety switches to prevent exposure to laser radiation when the CD door is open. It also incorporates double insulation for added safety.
The boombox requires either an AC/DC adaptor or 6 C batteries (not included) for power. Please note that this unit is not compatible with MP3 CDs.
Product Usage Instructions
Loading and Playing a CD
- Open the CD Door.
- Place a CD into the unit, with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD Door.
- Press the Power button to turn on the speaker.
- Press the CD/FM button to switch to CD mode.
- Use the skip buttons to skip tracks.
- Use the search buttons to search through a track.
Programming a CD
- While a CD is playing, press the program button (symbol:).
- The display will show “00” flashing.
- Use the skip buttons to select a track.
- Press the program button again to confirm the selection and add it to the program.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add more tracks to the program (up to 20 tracks).
- Press the play button to begin playing the program. Press the stop button twice to end the program.
FM Radio
Radio Reception:
An FM antenna is built into the speaker. To improve reception, adjust the
position of the speaker.
Radio Mode
- Press and hold the tune button to scan FM frequencies.
- Press the tune button to fine-tune FM frequencies.
- Press the memory button to cycle through memory presets.
CD Mode
- Press the shuffle button to select Shuffle play mode.
- Press the repeat button to select Repeat play mode.
- Press and hold the program button to program a CD.
- Press the skip buttons to skip tracks.
- Press and hold the search buttons to search through a track.
Power and Batteries
Plug the AC/DC adaptor into a standard power outlet to power the boombox.
Alternatively, you can use 6 C batteries (not included) for portable use.

- Press the Power button to turn the unit on.
- Press the CD/FM button to switch to Radio mode, then:
- Press and hold the buttons to scan radio frequencies.
- Press the buttons to fine-tune the radio frequency.
Saving Radio Presets
- Tune to the desired AM or FM frequency (see the above steps).
- Press and hold the button.
- The display will show “Preset” and begin flashing a preset number (e.g.: “P01”).
- Use the buttons to select the preset to be saved. Up to 10 stations can be saved (P01 to P10).
- Press the button to save that preset.
- With the radio ON, press the buttons to cycle through radio presets.
