About Headphone’s battery

  • The device has an internal non–user-replaceable rechargeable lithium battery.
  • For the first time use the device, let it charging for about 1 ~ 2 hours or until the [ Status LED ] indicator light from solid red turned to light off.
  • The lithium battery of electronic devices is sensitive to long periods of inactivity. It is important to recharge it at least once a month to keep it functioning properly.

Terminals for charge and upload music
Important: Headphone is equipped with terminals which let you connect for charge and upload music files. To avoid performance matter, make sure the headphone’s terminals and terminals plug of USB cable are completely dry and without dirty before to use for connection.
To charge
Note: The headphone will shut-down other operating function automatically when you have connected Headphone with USB Power Adapter or Computer for charging or upload music functions.

  • Use the Magnetic Terminals Plugs of the provided USB Charging Cable attach onto the Headphone’s Terminals. And make sure that the magnetic terminals plug and terminals are proper placed. Please see illustrated for in below:

  • Then, connect the Type-A plug of the USB Charging Cable to a USB port of your Computer or USB Power Adapter.

  • The [Status LED] indicator will light solid red when the device is in charging.

  • The [Status LED] indicator will light off from solid red when fully charged.

  • Disconnect the USB Charging Cable from Headphone and Computer/Adapter once battery fully charged.

To upload music
Note: Headphone is supports only for MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE audio file formats.

  • Before you use the headphone Local Player function, connect the Headphone’s terminals to a USB port of your Computer by the provided USB Charging Cable for upload the desired music onto it internal memory;
  • Once connected, a hard-drive named “BM111” will be detected and appeared in “This PC” on your computer;
  • On your Computer, use the “Copy-and-Paste/Drag-and-drop” functions to selects your desired audio file(s) or folder(s) drop them onto the root-directory of the BM111’s drive.
  • On a Windows computer, disconnect the BM111’s drive by using the “Safely remove hardware” function.
  • On a Mac computer, disconnect the BM111’s drive by dragging the icon to the trash can.
  • Disconnect the USB Charging Cable once upload music is completed.
  • Or, leave it for charge the lithium battery.

How to wear

Note: If wearing your headphones not the right way could cause discomfort and degraded the listening performance.

  • When wearing Bone Conduction Headphones, you have to make sure that they are rested on your cheekbones and the transducer pads are in front of your ears. Fit snugly, but not on your ear. Please see illustrated in below:

  • This guarantees that they send the correct signal vibrations to the cheekbones in your ears.

ON / OFF
Power ON the headphone
Note: The headphone will be automatically power Off in 8 minutes if no Bluetooth connection be made.

  • Long press the [ ] button, for 2 – 3 seconds, until the [ Status LED ] indicator light on and flashes blue and red alternately. (Voice prompts will say:“Power On” -> “% of remaining battery” -> “Bluetooth Mode”).

Power OFF the headphone

  • In operating mode, Long press the [ ] button, for 2 – 3 seconds, until the [ Status LED ] indicator from current light effects to turn blue then off. (Voice prompts will say: “Power OFF”)
  • Then, the headphone will be turned OFF in a second.

Bluetooth Pairing
Note: For some Bluetooth mobile devices, you may need to input “0000” as pairing password.

  • Power ON the device by long press the [ ] button, for 2 – 3 seconds, until the [ Status LED ] indicator light on and flashes blue and red alternately and voice prompts will say for the status.
  • Open your mobile device’s Bluetooth settings and select “BM111” in it list for pairing;
  • The headphone’s [ Status LED ] indicator light will switch from flashes blue and red alternately to slow flashes blue once per 4 seconds. (Voice prompts will say: “Bluetooth connected”)
  • Now, the headphone is ready for Bluetooth audio playback function.

Disconnect from paired device

  • In Bluetooth connected mode, long press the [ M ] button, for 2 – 3 seconds, to switch the headphone to new “Pairing” mode. The [ Status LED ] indicator light switch from flashes slow blue to flashes blue and red alternately. (Voice prompts will say: “Bluetooth disconnected”)
  • The current paired device is disconnected. Now, you can process for new mobile device for pairing as you wanted.

Auto re-connects with paired device

  • Every time you power ON the headphone; the Bluetooth mode will firstly be searching and pairing for the last paired mobile device whether it is available. The headphone will re-connect this mobile device(s) as priority.
  • If it not found in some seconds, the headphone will then switch to pairing mode internally and waiting for pair.
  • The [ Status LED ] indicator light will switches and voice prompts will say according to the modes status.

Bluetooth Audio Playback
Note: Listening with headphone at high volume may affect your hearing and the audio may be distorted.

Play/Pause

  • In Bluetooth paired mode, short press the [ ] button to starts music play. Or, selects the desired music file(s) to starts music play from mobile device’s music APP listed. The [ Status LED ] indicator will light slow flashes blue once per 4 seconds.
  • To pause the playing music, short press the [ ] button. Press it again to resume play.

Volume adjust

  • While music is playing, adjust headphone’s volume by short press or pressing either the [ Volume ] or [ Volume ] buttons. (A “beep” will sound when the volume is at its maximum. or minimum)
  • And/Or, adjust the volume on you mobile device.

Play for next / previous track

  • While music is playing, long press either the [ Volume ] or [ Volume ] buttons until the next or previous track is selected to playback.

Mode Control (Multiple Functions)

Select Bluetooth mode

  • Every time you power ON the headphone, it will entry to Bluetooth mode as default settings. (Voice prompts will say: “Power On”-> “% of remaining battery” -> “Bluetooth Mode”)
  • Repeatedly short press the [ M ] button can switch in-betweens the local player mode and Bluetooth mode as your desired. (Voice prompts will say: “Local Player Mode” or Bluetooth Mode.)

Select Local Player Mode

  • In Bluetooth mode, short press the [ M ] button to entry the Local Player Mode. (Voice prompts will say: “Local Player Mode”.)
  • By system defaulted, each time your selects local player mode, the music starts playback automatically.

Disconnect Bluetooth Paired

  • In Bluetooth connected mode, long press the [ M ] button, for 2 – 3 seconds, will disconnect the paired mobile device for new Bluetooth pairing. (Voice prompts will say: “Disconnected”)

Select Repeat / Shuffle Play / Repeat All

  • In Local Player mode and while music playing, Long press the [ M ] button until the voice prompts say for status; “Repeat” / “Shuffle Play” / “Repeat All” which one is in set now.
  • Each time you long press the [ M ] button will selects next type of repeat function. Choose which one to use as you desired.

Local Player Mode
Note: Make sure that the music files have been uploaded onto the headphone’s internal memory.

Switch to Local Player Mode

  • Short press the [ M ] button to select the Local Player mode if it is in Bluetooth mode. (Voice prompts will say: “Local Player Mode”.
  • And, the music starts playback automatically.

Play/Pause

  • To pause the playing music, short press the [ ] button.
  • Short press it again to resume play.

Volume

  • While music is playing, adjust headphone’s volume by short press or pressing either the [ Volume ] or [ Volume ] buttons. (A “beep” will sound when the volume is at its maximum. or minimum)

Play for next / previous track

  • While music is playing, long press either the [ Volume ] or [ Volume ] buttons until the next or previous track is selected to playback.

Repeat / Shuffle Play / Repeat All

  • While music is playing, long press the [ M ] button until the voice prompts say “Repeat” / “Shuffle Play” / “Repeat All” which one is in set now.
  • Repeatedly long press the [ M ] button to selects until your desired repeat function.

Low battery and auto power Off

  • In the headphone detected the battery is in lower level, it will voice prompts “Low Battery” by every 5 minutes per once.
  • When you heard this reminder, please connect the headphone to the Computer/USB power for charging.
  • If not, the device will itself power OFF automatically when the battery is keeping low energy level in some time.
  • In some low battery levels case, the device might not be turned the power On. If this happened, please recharging the battery at least 10 ~ 15 minutes, because the rechargeable battery has not enough energy for drive up the headphone.

Reset the Device

  • In some circumstances, the device’s function may hang and need to reset. To reset the device;
  • Long press the [ ] button for 8 ~ 10 seconds, the device should reset and turn OFF automatically. After that, power ON the headphone for restart.

For Swimming

  1. The Headphone is IPX8 waterproof design; however, it’s not recommended you dive into a swimming pool more than 2 meter deeper while wearing the Headphone.
  2. The headphone can be placed in fresh water, tap water, swimming pool, sea water, etc., but not be placed it in soapy water, bath liquid, laundry detergent, high temperature or humidity.
  3. The charging pole-piece in the headphone is with anti-corrosion treatment. However, as seawater is highly corrosive, you are recommended to clean the headphone immediately when it is out of seawater.
  4. If you need to use the provided seal earplugs, gently wear them in your ears.
  5. When earplugs fitted correctly, you should be able to notice while the headphone is not playing music that surrounding sounds will be significantly muted.
  6. Be aware that there is a risk of damage to your ears or eardrums if strong pressure is applied to the earplugs or the earplugs are suddenly removed from your ears.
  7. Remove the seal earplugs from your ears by gently twisting the stem, slowly allowing the seal the break without damaging or hurting the ear and eardrums. The ear plugs must be thoroughly washed with soapy water, rinsed, and dried before reuse.

Cleaning after use in water

Important: Headphone is equipped with terminals let you connect without cover for charge and upload music files. Need to be completely dry before to use for connection.

  • If perspiration, sand, or dirt gets on your Headphone, rinse it off with fresh water at room temperature or gently running by tap water immediately.
  • When you wash the headphone, wash them by hand without using a brush, etc. Do not wash the headphone with hot water.
  • Do not wash the Headphone in a washing machine or ultrasound bath, etc. Do not use detergent, chemicals, or wet wipes.
  • After washing your Headphone, wipe away the water on them using a soft cloth, and then leave them in a well-ventilated shady place to dry.
  • Do not dry the Headphone using hot air from a hair dryer. Doing so may cause deformation and deterioration of the water-resistant performance.
  • Do not use the Headphone until they dry completely. Put a dry cloth under the Headphone and leave them at room temperature for about 2 or 3 hours.
