  1. Within 18 months of purchase date, repair is guaranteed for failure due to electrical circuit problems. Other damages, such as disassembly, hard impacts, submersion into water, plugging into improper current or voltage, and damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, flood, or earthquake are not included.
  2. Consumable parts (such as foot pads) and spare parts replacement are not included in our warranty.

How to connect the keyboard with a computer Wired Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on left side of the keyboard to OFF.
  2. Take out the USB A to USB Type C cable in the package and connect the keyboard to your computer.
  3. The computer will recognize and configure the keyboard automatically, The LED marked with M lights on Green.
  4. Once the keyboard is powered up, charging begins. The LED marked with lights on red.

2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on left side of keyboard to 2.4G.
  2. Press [FN]+[4] for about 3 seconds, the LED marked with M will flash in yellow, plug the USB receiver into any available USB port on your computer within 20 seconds.
  3. The computer will recognize and configure the keyboard automatically,
  4. LED marked with M will light on yellow steady.

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on left side of keyboard to BT.
  2. Press [FN]+[1](or [2]/[3] for other Bluetooth devices), the LED marked with M flashes in blue (or cyan/magenta for the others)
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and scan for available devices on your computer or smart phone. It will find “BT3.0Keyboard or BT5.0 KB” device. Select one of them to get connected with it automatically.

Keyboard sleep mode and power save function

In 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth connecting, to save power, there are two coditions that keyboard get into sleep mode, all LEDs and backlight turn OFF, please click any key to wake up the keyboard.

  1. power save mode at the first 3 minutes out of working, all backlight turns OFF, keyboard is working, 2.4G connecting is activity.
  2. Sleep mode at the 30 minutes out of working, backlight turns OFF, keyboard is OFF, 2.4G is not connecting.

Backlight setting

  • [FN]+[INS]: Change backlight mode. There are 20 backlight patterns.
  • [FN]+(Enter]: Change backlight color under available patterns.
  • [FN] + [← ]: Slow down the backlight rotating speed.
  • [FN] + [ → ]: Speed up the backlight rotating speed.
  • [FN] + [ ↑ ]: Level Up the backlight brightness.
  • [FN] + [ ↓ ]: Level down the backlight brightness.
  • [FN] + [Space ]: Turn ON/OFF backlight.
  • [FN] + [ESC]: Press and hold for 3 seconds to factory setting.

Backlight recording function

  1. Press FN+ Backspace, ESC. A. S. D. W, ↑ , ↓ , ←,→ keys light ON indication its ready for recording.
  2. Press FN+Backspace again to get ready for recording.
  3. Keep press the desired key to choose lighting color, The indicator A keep flash during the recording, press FN+Backspace to save and quit.

Commands of key combinations

  • FN+F1=My computer
  • FN+F2= Homepage
  • FN+F3=Calculater
  • FN+F4=Media Player
  • FN+F5=Previous track
  • FN+F6=Next track
  • FN+F7= Play/Pause
  • FN+F8= Stop
  • FN+F9= Mute
  • FN+F10=Volume-
  • FN+F11=Volume+
  • FN+F12=Email

Knob function

  1. Knob default function as volume control(Check the following photo for volume control function) Short press knob to mute what playing, press it again to unmute.
  2. Long press knob for 3 seconds,keyboard LEDs flash twice, the knob function will be switch as brightness control (check the following photo for brightness control function.), short press knob to switch keyboard backlight in 20 patterns.REDRAGON-ET-8986A-Wireless-Gasket-Mechanical-Keyboard-fig- \(3\)
  3. Long press knob again for 3 seconds, the knob function will be switch as Volume control.

How to recharge the keyboard

  • Find the USB A to USB type C cable in the packaging ,plug the keyboard and connect it with computer for charging, the LED indicator will be turn to red for under 20% power, Purple for under 40% power, blue for under 60% power, cyan for under 80% power, Green is for 80%+ power.
  • Battery status indication: Press FN+ALT, all backlight turn OFF, The Number keys from [1!][0] are indicator of power status as from 0%-100%, when [1!][3#] are ON red means keyboard is low power, need to be charge ASAP.

FAQs

  1. If the keyboard doesn’t respond, please check if the keyboards USB cable is correctly inserted into the corresponding USB port on the computer, or try another USB port on the computer.
  2. If you spill liquid on the keyboard, please unplug the keyboards USB cable from the computer immediately. Wipe off excess liquid and put the keyboard in a dry and ventilated place. Make sure the keyboard is dried naturally before the next use.

  • DO NOT replace the battery with a different model.
  • DO NOT use this product if the battery shows signs of damage including, but not limited to tearing, deformation, leakage, or the smell of electrolytic material.
  • DO NOT touch the battery if material is leaking and seek immediate medical attention if any material comes into contact with your skin or eyes.
  • DO NOT expose the battery to liquid, heat sources, electricity (outside of the product itself), or other non-standard operating condition.
  • DO NOT remove the battery except for proper disposal and recycling as required by local laws and regulations.
  • DO NOT impact, bend, alter, dissemble, or otherwise damage the battery as the contents are volatile, hazardous, and can be harmful.
