CAUTION
This product is an electrical device and can be hazardous if immersed in water. To avoid the possibility of shock, do not use it while in the bathtub or shower or when you are wet. If you accidentally drop it into watefl first unplug its cord (or cords) from the modular jack, and then remove the equipment from the water.

INSTALLATION

Plug one end of the flat cord to the line jack in the base and the other end to the wall jack. Of the handset plug one end of the coiled cord to the handset and the other end to the jack to the left hand of the base unit. DO NOT PLUG THE COILED CORD TO THE BACK OF THE PHONE LINE / DATA SOCKET

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

RECEIVER SWITCH (HI/Ml/LO)

  • Slide the [RECEIVER] switch to ‘HI’ position for the highest handset volume, ‘Ml’ for medium volume, and the ‘LO’ position for the lowest handset volume

SPEAKERPHONE (MAX to MIN) SWITCH

  • Slide the [SP-PHONE] switch to the ‘MAX’ position for the highest speaker volume and the ‘MIN’ position for the lowest speaker volume.

RINGER (HI/LO/OFF) SWITCH

  • Slide the [RINGER] switch to the ‘HI’ position for high ringer volume and the ‘LO’ position for low ringer volume.
  • Slide the [RINGER] switch to the ‘OFF’ position to turn the ringer off. The ringer will not be activated by any incoming calls. (Ringer NEON will still flash to remind you if there is an incoming call) Don’t forget to turn the ringer ‘ON’ when you are ready to receive calls; otherwise, you will not hear any ringing sound.

INCOMING CALL NEON INDICATOR
The bulb will flash if there is an incoming call.

IN USE INDICATOR
This bulb will light if the handset is off-hook, the Speakerphone key is “ON” or if the phone is on “HOLD” showing you the phone is connected properly and will remain on until the phone is off properly

MAKING CALLS AS NORMAL TELEPHONE

  • Pick up the handset or press (the SP-PHONE] key to listen for a dial tone.
  • Dial your call.

RECEIVING CALLS AS A NORMAL TELEPHONE
When the phone rings:

  • Lift the handset and speak into the mouthpiece of the handset or
  • Press the [SP-PHONE] key to speak
  • Hang up the handset or press [SP-PHONE) key to release the telephone line when the conversation is completed.

‘911’ EMERGENCY ONE-TOUCH DIALING
For the emergency dialing of ‘911 ‘, just pick the handset or press [SP-PHONE] to get a dial tone, then press the (911) button to dial out the call directly.

LAST NUMBER REDIAL

  • Lift the handset or press (SP-PHONE] to get the dial tone
  • The last number you called can be redialed automatically by using [REDIAL]. This is useful especially if the line is busy.
  • Redial functions will not be executed if any other key is entered prior to the redial key entry.

FLASH
For Call Waiting or when in an office equipped with PBX service, this telephone makes it easy to transfer calls

  1. Ask the caller to wait
  2. Press the [FLASH] button for and Call waiting
  3. You can now answer the 2call , by pressing [FLASH) again you can go back to the 1″ call.
  4. Or for PBX equipped dial the extension number that the caller intended
  5. When the person answers ·s, just replace the handset back onto the phone
  6. If you receive a busy call or there is nobody answer, press the [FLASH] button to re-connect to the caller

MUSIC ON HOLD FUNCTION

  • During the conversation, to put your party on music “hold”, press the [HOLD] button. Your caller will be placed on “hold” while he or she listens to music.
  • To release the “hold”, lift the handset or press the [SP-PHONE] button and speak to the calling party

STORE ON/OFF SWITCH

  • Slide the “STORE” switch to the ‘ON’ position, and the one-touch or two-touch memories will be able to be programmed.
  • Slide the “STORE” switch to the ‘OFF’ position, the one-touch or two-touch memories will not be able to be programmed.

TO STORE 2 ONE-TOUCH MEMORIES
Lift the handset or press the [SP-PHONE] button

  • Press [STORE] button

  • Enter the number you want to store
    Press M1 or M2

  • R_eplace the handset or press [SP-PHONE) button

TO STORE 10 TWO-TOUCH MEMORIES

  • Lift the handset or press the [SP-PHONE] button
  • Press [STORE] button
  • Enter the number you want: to store
  • Press [AUTO] button
  • Press a number from Oto 9′.(where the location you would like to store)
  • Replace the handset or press [SP-PHONE) button

TO DIALA NUMBER FROM 2 ONE-TOUCH (M1/M2) MEMORIES

  • Lift the handset or press [SP-PHONE) button to get the dial tone
  • Press the one-touch button (M 1 /M2)

TO DIALA NUMBER FROM 10 TWO-TOUCH MEMORIES

  • Lift the handset or press the [SP-PHONE] button to get the dial tone
  • Press the [AUTO] button first, then enter the desired location from 0-9

  • Handle the phone carefully. Do not drop it.
  • Do not use or put the unit in extreme temperatures.
  • Keep the phone away from dust and dirt.
  • Use the correct power batteries as indicated in the manual. Do not put batteries in a fire for such action can lead to an explosion.
  • Do not modify or tamper with the telephone’s internal components. Improper adjustment can cause damage and can be dangerous.
