OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Locate the access tab on the left side of the hiding cave cover (C) and pull up to remove the magnetic cover. Remove the emitter. Use a screwdriver to remove the emitter battery cover and install 2 AA batteries.

  2. Fasten the battery cover with a screwdriver, place emitter into hiding cave, and replace the magnetic cover.

  3. Place the probe at the desired location. This location can vary between terrarium setups. It is recommended to run the probe cord underneath your substrate wherever possible to prevent your pet from accessing it. If placing the main body of your hide beneath your heat source we recommend placing the probe at the other end of your terrarium to gain a better understanding of the temperature gradient in your reptile’s environment. Do not place your probe where it could be splashed or submerged as it is not waterproof and direct water contact may damage the product.

  4. Open the battery cover of the display with a screwdriver. Then install 2 AAA batteries and replace the battery cover.

  5. Place the display in your desired location outside the terrarium.

  6. Use suction cup to fix on glass

  7. Open the support foot and place it on flat surface

  8. Mount on wall using a nail or screw and rear nail hook

  9. Press the “ ” and “ ” button to successively read the exterior, interior and probe monitoring temperature and humidity values

  10. Verify the operation of the emitter and display

  11. Thermo-hygrometer: long press the “C/F” button on the thermo-hygrometer for 3 seconds to start receiving temperature and humidity values from emitter.
Temperature and humidity values will updated every minute and display on screen.

  12. Emitter: long press the emitter signal transmit button for 3 seconds to start sending temperature and humidity values to thermo-hygrometer. And the thermo-hygrometer will update the temperature and humidity values on screen.

REMARKS

  1. When the emitter’s voltage is lower than 2.2V, screen will display “Sens” , and “ ” will flash
  2. When the thermo-hygrometer display’s voltage is lower than 2.2V, screen will display “Disp” , and “ ” will flash
  3. When there is no signal from the emitter for 5 minutes, “ ” will flash on screen and display the latest temperature and humidity value.
  4. “ ” will keep flashing while the display is matching with the emitter. After matched successfully, “ ” will display all the time, and the temperature and humidity sent by emitter will display on thermo-hygrometer.
Every other minute, “ ” will flash three times to monitor the current temperature and humidity again and update the values.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE

  1. If temperature and humidity display is not accurate and clear, please replace the battery.
  2. Regularly check if the suction cup is stable.
  3. Do not repair or modify the product by yourself.
  4. Please install the battery in the correct polarity direction.
  5. Do not mix alkaline battery, carbon battery or rechargeable battery.
  6. Please wipe the probe with a clean dry cloth if there is any dust on it.
  7. The probe is not waterproof. DO NOT spray or wash the probe with water directly. Splashing or immersion in water will cause the probe value to be inaccurate or damaged.
  8. When the product is not used for a long time, please remove the battery.
  9. Remove the depleted battery from the product.
