Battery Installation

Power Supply: Tailor Made Lithium Battery

  1. Lithium Battery:
    • Ensure that the On/Off Knob is switched off.
    • Open the Battery Cover. Insert the tailor-made Lithium Battery into the battery compartment and plug the battery cord into the Power Connector in the correct direction to ensure that the power supply is connected. Close the Battery Cover.
    • The manufacturer provides the tailor-made Lithium Battery. Other types of Lithium Batteries are not recommended.
  2. Battery Indicator:  Green 100%-60%, Yellow 60% – 20%, Red 20% – 0%. Please charge the Lithium Battery when the battery indicator changes to red.

Power On/Off/Pair

  • Press and hold On/Off Button (1) for 2 seconds: Power On
  • Voice prompt “Power On”
  • Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your mobile phone, search “D Quad BT” and pair. LED is flashing while pairing.
  • After paired: LED off
  • Voice prompt “Connected”
  • Press and hold On/Off Button (1) for 3 seconds: Power Off
  • Voice prompt “Power Off”
  • 3 hours auto power off
Bluetooth Music Playback
  • Single Press Multi-Functional Button (1): Play/Pause
  • Single Press Previous Track (4): Previous Track
  • Single Press Next Track (5): Next Track

Phone Call

  • Single Press Multi-Functional Button (1): Answer/End Call
  • Press and hold the Multi-Functional Button (1) for 2 seconds: Reject Call.

Volume Level

  • To adjust the volume level by single or continuous press button + (2) or – (3).

Voice Dial

  • Press & Hold PTT to start voice dial. Release the button when Voice Dial function is activated.

Reset Bluetooth Setting

  • In Power On mode, press and hold Multi-Functional Button (1) for 8 seconds, double Bi sounds are heard after Bluetooth is re-set.

Auxiliary Jack (12)

  • Connect one end of the Ø3.5mm cable to the Auxiliary Jack (12), the other end to the external device.
  • Start to play the music of your external device.
  • Music pauses when pick up an incoming call. Music resumes when the call is finished.
  • Connect with a Hunting Radio: Use a cable with one end in 3-pole 3.5mm stereo jack to plug in the headset, the other end in 2-pole 3.5mm mono jack to connect with the Hunting Radio. When Hunting Radio receives a signal, user can listen to the signal via Headset, no transmission is allowed.

Level Dependent (Cut to zero)

  • Press and hold Next Track (5) for 2 seconds: Turn on/off LD function.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Hunting Radio

  • Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your Hunting Radio, search “D Quad BT” and pair.
  • After paired, RX starts automatically.
  • Press and hold the PTT Button (6) to start TX, release the button when TX is over.

Battery Indicator (7)

  • 100-60% in Green, 60-20% in Yellow, 20%-0% in Red

Re-charge Lithium Battery

  • Only charge the headset with a maximum 5 voltage charger. Using a charger higher than 5 volts could be dangerous and may damage the headset.
  • Insert an USB Type C charging cable into the charge port (9) to re-charge the battery.
    • Charge indicator in red – charging.
    • Charge indicator in green – charging completed.

Replace Ear Cushions

  1. Put your finger between the ear cushion and the ear cup to pull them apart.
  2. After it’s popped apart, remove the entire ear cushion off.
  3. Put the new ear cushion on the ear cup.
  4. Press them together until you hear a click.

Adjusting the Fit

  1. Put on the earmuffs with the controls panel over your right ear.
  2. With the headband over the crown of your head, position the muffs to completely enclose your ears. The muffs only provide hearing protection when worn with the headband over the crown of your head.
  3. Slide the muffs carefully up or down to adjust for a firm, comfortable fit.
  4. Ensure the cushions seal tightly against your head with no interference from foreign objects between the ear cup and your head (such as pencils or glasses temple arms). Spread the ear cups only enough to clear the ears. Do not return or reshape the headband.

Wearer Information

  • The ear-muffs are fitted, adjusted and maintained and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • The ear-muffs are regularly inspected for serviceability.
  • Earmuffs, and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and leakage.
  • The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the earmuffs.
  • The earmuffs are provided with level-dependent attenuation. The wearer should check correct operation before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the manufacturer’s advice for maintenance and replacement of the battery.
  • The hearing protector provides an entertainment audio facility.
  • The earmuffs are provides audio signal sound pressure level limitation and the earmuffs limits the entertainment audio signal to 82 dB(A) effective to the ear.
  • To prevent damage to the headset function, do not subject it to rough handling.
  • Interference and fault may happen when turning on the TV, fluorescent light or other electrical appliances.
  • When the volume begins to fade, recharge or replace the lithium battery. Lithium battery is available from the manufacturer.
  • Remove the Battery from the unit to prevent battery leakage when you are not going to use it for a long time.
  • Failure to follow these instructions or misuse of the headset can result in damage and/or loss.
  • The Headband cushion is non-replaceable so do not tear it off, as it will damage the headset.
  • Ear Cushions are replaceable. Check with supplier to order the Hygiene Kit.
  • The wearer should check the correct operation before usage. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the manufacturer’s advice for maintenance and replacement of the battery.
  • This product is durable for 2-3 years usage under proper operation/application unless the headband/ear cushions or the headset is damaged.

Storage

  • Do not store the hearing protector at temperatures exceeding +55°C, for example on a dashboard or windowsill. Do not store the hearing protector at temperature below -20°C.
  • Under extremely cold conditions, warm the hearing protector before using.

Cleaning

  • Simply wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap or water. Do not dip it into the water. This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the manufacturer.

Safety

  • This earmuffs is intended to protect your ears against hazard noise.
  • The ear-muffs are worn at all times in noisy surroundings to avoid the risk of hearing damage.
  • Loud music can cause hearing damage.
  • Avoid working in a noisy environment over extended periods of time.
  • Acoustical warning, indication signals and environmental noises can sound different when wearing hearing protection.
  • The perception of warning signals in certain workplaces may be affected when using a sound reproducing system.
  • The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the daily limited sound level.
  • The output of the level-dependent circuit of this hearing protector may exceed the external sound level.
  • The hearing protector provides safety-related audio input:
  • The relationship between sound output level and input signal in 5 dB steps from a sound output level of 70 dB(A) up to the maximum input signal:
  • The usage time for the maximum input signal that corresponds to an equivalent sound output level of 82 dB(A) over 8 hours:
  • The audibility of warning signals at specific workplaces may be impaired while using the entertainment facility.

Warning

  • If the recommendations given above do not adhere, the protection by the earmuffs will be securely impaired.
  • For best performance, the earmuffs are fitted, adjusted and kept maintenance in accordance to the manufacturer’s instruction.
  • Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. The typical period of continuous use that can be expected from the ear-muff battery is 14 hours.

Guarantee

  • If the product fails, please contact your supplier.
  • Remember that many outlets will require that you have a valid proof of purchase.
  • Any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship will either be replaced, refunded or repaired free of charge where possible during this period by the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.
  • The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, cabinet parts, knobs or consumable items.
  • The guarantee will be rendered invalid if the product is re-sold or has been damaged by inexpert repair.
  • Specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • The PPE does not provide proper protection if the ear muff defect, or not correctly placed over the ear.
