General Safety And Use Of The Product
- Please read the User Manual before using the product.
- Place the product on a flat surface before use.
- Before using, make sure that the product does not wave or tilt.
- Do not use the product if product components are malfunctioning or damaged.
- Do not stand or jump on the product.
- Do not put fingers or other body parts into the operating area of the adjustment mechanism.
- Do not expose the product to strong sunlight.
- Do not use the product in extreme temperature and humidity conditions.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose.
- Do not make any modifications or repairs to the product.
- Only after meeting the above recommendations there are no contraindications to use the product.
- Each serious incident related to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
Intended Use Of The Product
The prophylactic-rehabilitation chair is intended for people with back
injuries and with lumbar pain syndromes. The task of the chair is to relieve
the intervertebral discs and back muscles in a sitting position.
It also fulfills a preventive task in shaping the correct posture during long-
term siting work. Due to to the multi-stage adjustment system, it allows you
to assume a convenient position for people of various height.
People with other spine conditions or in case of any doubts are advised to
consult a specialist doctor or chiropractic.
Cleaning And Maintenance
The metal frame should be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents. Upholstered elements should be cleaned with generally available agents intended for cleaning upholstery. Do not use harsh chemicals.
Safety Conditions For The Assembly
- Before use, make sure that all components are properly attached and tightened.
- The chair should be folded by adults.
- In case of finding any defects, immediately contact the manufacturer and do not use the chair until the defect is removed.
Construction And Technical Data
Product components:

Frame – strong and durable made of carbon steel covered with a varnish coating.

Seat and knee support – made of 20 [mm] plywood and 75 [mm] polyurethane foam covered with a pleasant-to-touch soft and breathable PU material.

Two-stage regulation system based on pneumatic rod Ø80 [mm]:
– for the knee section in the range of 0-30 [°];
– for the seat in the range of 0-24 [°]. -
Automatic backrest adjustment depending on the user’s position.

Wheels with an additional PU layer and a locking system.
Width: 456 [mm] Length (depending on user setting): 513 – 570 [mm] Height (depending on user settings): 610 – 690 [mm] Loading capacity: 204 [kg]
Installation

Press both ends of the pneumatic cylinder into the prepared holes of the frame.

Fix knee support section to the frame using the sleeves and screws provided with the kit.

Attach the seat to the main frame using the screws provided with the kit.

Attach the seat to the main frame, and the armrests to the seat using the screws provided with the kit.

Attach the backrest to the seat using the screws provided with the kit.

Screw the wheels clockwise into the prepared holes of the frame.

Attach the backrest to the seat using the screws provided with the kit.
Use Of The Chair
You should sit on the seat (as shown in drawing) and place your bent knees on
the knee support. The correct height is when the knees are slightly extended
forward within the lower cushion or slightly beyond it. The weight of the body
is then distributed over the entire lower leg.
Start using the chair 15 to 30 minutes a day and gradually increase the time
you sit.
The time needed for the stress-free use of the chair varies, depending on
individual characteristics, age, psyche and condition.

For the purposes hereof:
a) „Seller” shall mean HABYS Sp. z o.o. located in Jasło, Poland, at 16 Produkcyjna Street.
b) „Purchaser” shall mean the final Purchaser of the equipment.
c)„Authorised Service” shall mean the service maintained by the Seller. -
The Seller shall ensure good quality and operation of the equipment for which the guarantee card has been issued for the period stated in the card.

Guaranteed repair shall not cover activities provided for in the instruction manual which should be performed by the Purchaser them self.

The guarantee shall not cover: damages to the equipment resulting from inappropriate usage or usage incompliant with the instruction manual, maintenance instructions, transportation instructions or additionally, any mechanical damages; colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to sunlight; impact of chemicals or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution and accidental puncture, the presence of spots or rings on the oily or colouring substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils); permanent staining of some colouring agents, such as: ink, permanent markers or other non-colorfast dyes used in the production of clothing (for example: blue jeans).

The Purchaser shall lose their guarantee rights if: the Seller discovers that during the guarantee period, the equipment was repaired outside the authorised service; any design modifications were introduced thereto without the Seller’s consent; the equipment was still used following the disclosure of a constructional defect.

In cases provided for in point 5, irrespective of the loss of guarantee rights, HABYS Sp. z o.o. shall not be responsible for any damage to property or person which might be caused by operation of such equipment.

Defects or damages to the structure of the equipment resulting from the equipment itself, disclosed during the guarantee period, shall be removed free of charge within 14 days of submission of the equipment to the Seller or authorised service. Costs of transportation shall be borne by the Purchaser, if complaint is justified.

In order to enjoy guarantee rights, it shall be necessary to fulfill the following four conditions jointly:
a) Production of an invoice or other proof of equipment purchase by the Purchaser;
b) Reporting the fault within 14 days of disclosure thereof;
c) Sending back the damaged equipment in an original packaging. -
The guarantee period shall be extended by the guarantee repair time, counted from the date of delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service to the day on which the equipment is made available to the Purchaser to recover.

Identification of the manner and necessary scope of the repair shall be the responsibility of the Seller or authorised service.

The Purchaser shall be entitled to, at their discretion, the right to claim equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid if:
a) The Seller has not enabled the Purchaser to recover the equipment repaired within 14 days of the Purchaser’s delivering the equipment to the Seller or authorised service.
b) Within the guarantee period, four repairs have been made and the equipment still reveals defects making it impossible to operate it in compliance with its destination. -
Equipment replacement or reimbursement of the price paid shall require the Seller’s consent each time.

The Seller shall not undertake responsibility for damages to the equipment aroused during transportation by a forwarding company. It is the Purchaser’s obligation to inspect the technical condition of the equipment upon the reception thereof.

If transportation was commissioned by the Seller and the goods have been damaged, the Purchaser is obligated to: a) let the Seller know in 3 day time from the date of delivery about any damages of equipment, which happened during transportation in order to enable the Seller to file a complaint with the forwarding company. b) provide the Seller protocol of complaint which is written between the Purchaser and transportation company.

Terms of guarantee contained herein shall be the sole and original terms of guarantee for Habys products.

The warranty period is: construction 36 months, upholstery 24 months.
