Heater Wire Adapter User Instructions
Intended Use
The Heater Wire Adapter is designed for making electrical connection between
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare MR850 and HC550 humidifiers and Fisher & Paykel
Healthcare heated breathing circuits.
The 900MR805 adapter may be used with single or dual-limb heated breathing
circuits, while the 900MR806 adapter can only be used with single-limb heated
breathing circuits.

Expected Service Life
3 years, if used in accordance with this User Instruction.
Note:
Service life may vary depending on usage pattern.
Setup
- Visually inspect entire product for damage before use. Discard if damaged.
- Insert the Heater Wire Adapter connector (A) to the yellow socket on the Humidifier.
- Connect the other end(s) (B, C) of the Heater Wire Adapter to the Breathing Circuit socket(s), as outlined in diagram.
Maintenance
Maintenance should be routinely performed. For further information, refer to
the MR850 or HC550 Technical Manual (available from your local Fisher and
Paykel Healthcare
representative).
Cleaning:
Using a damp cloth, clean the Heater Wire Adapter with either of the following
– Isopropyl Alcohol or normal dishwashing detergent.
Notes
- Follow these recommended cleaning procedures and the user instructions of the cleaning agents. It is the user’s responsibility to qualify any deviations from these procedures, both for disinfecting efficacy and physical effect.
- Do not immerse this product in any liquid.
- This product is not designed for autoclave sterilization process
WARNINGS
- The use of breathing circuits, chambers, other accessories or parts which are not approved by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare may impair performance or compromise safety.
- Failure to perform routine visible damage checks may impair performance or compromise safety.
- No automated method for cleaning and disinfection is recommended.

Disposal
Dispose according to standard hospital guidelines for electrical and
electronic equipment.
