Download the soundcore app to customize ambient sound, adjust EQ settings, update firmware, and explore more.
If your headphones cannot connect with the soundcore app, update it to the latest version in your mobile app store.

WEARING

Wear the headphones with the “L” logo on your left ear and “R” logo on your right ear. Adjust the length of the headband for a comfortable fit.

CHARGING

Fully dry off the USB port before charging.
Do not turn on your headphones while charging.
Use a certified USB-C charging cable and charger to prevent any damage.

POWERING ON & PAIRING

Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on.
The headphones will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when connecting for the first time.
Select “soundcore Space Q45” on your device’s Bluetooth list to connect.

MULTIPOINT CONNECTION

The headphones can connect with two devices at the same time. When already connected to one device, press the power button twice to pair with another device.

In the soundcore app, go to settings and select Dual Connections > Connect New Device.

To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode when the headphones are off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue.

NOISE CANCELLATION

To reduce ambient noise, switch to noise cancellation (default) via NC button and customize in the soundcore app.

  • Adaptive Noise Cancelling: Adjust the level of noise cancellation automatically for various scenarios.
  • Custom Noise Cancelling: Set the level of noise cancellation manually.

TRANSPARENCY

To stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music, switch to transparency via NC button and customize in the soundcore app.

Talk Mode: Voices stand out more clearly from other ambient sounds.
Custom Transparency Mode: Set the level of transparency manually.

LDAC

  • Use devices powered by Android 8.0 or later to experience LDAC quality sound.
  • LDAC provides higher quality sound, increases power consumption, and reduces playtime.
  •  Enable LDAC in a low-interference environment to ensure a stable Bluetooth connection.

1. Go to settings in the soundcore app. 2. Click on “Sound Mode”.

WIRED LISTENING – AUX

Play audio on an external device by plugging in a 3.5mm AUX cable. Wired listening will turn off Bluetooth mode automatically.

RESET

You might need to reset your headphones if you experience connectivity or function issues.
Delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device first.
Press the power and volume up buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red three times.

How to Enable Multipoint Connection on soundcore Space Q45 Headphones

This article will help you enable the multipoint connection on soundcore Space Q45. Connect with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously for easy switching between music, calls, and more. To use this feature, you should already have one Bluetooth device connected.

1. Pair Space Q45 headphones with the first Bluetooth device.

2. Double-click the Power button so that Space Q45 enters pairing mode again. The LED will flash blue.

3. On the second device, select “soundcore Space Q45” in the Bluetooth device list. The headphones will pair with the second device. The indicator should be steady blue for 3 seconds, then turn off.

How to Switch Between ANC, Normal, and Transparency Modes

Method 1 Press the NC button

Press the “NC” button to cycle between the modes. The order is Noise Cancelling (default) > Transparency > Normal.

Method 2 Use the soundcore app

Manually switch between the three modes and customize the level of noise cancellation and transparency.

Note: On the soundcore app, you can also customize the button functions by going to “Controls.”

How to Pair Space Q45 With a Different Bluetooth Device When They Are

Already Connected to Two Devices

If soundcore Space Q45 is already connected to two Bluetooth devices, double- clicking the power button won’t put the headphones in pairing mode. If you still need to pair a new device to Space Q45, there are two ways to do it:

1. Manually disconnect a connected device, so the headphones enter pairing mode. Do this by going into your device’s Bluetooth settings and disconnecting from soundcore Space Q45.

2. Go on the soundcore app and view the connection status and connected device history. Manually disconnect one of the devices and then connect a new device in the app.

How to Connect Space Q45 to the soundcore App

Follow these steps:

1. Download the soundcore app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Pair soundcore Space Q45 with your phone.

3. Open the soundcore app, and go to Add Devices > Headphones. The app will identify your headphones, and you can press “Space Q45” to connect them.

If your Space Q45 won’t charge or power on, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the issue.

1. Try a different wall charger and cable

It’s best to use a 5V charger and a different cable to charge the headphones for at least 24 hours, regardless if the indicator light is on or off. Make sure that the cable is correctly plugged into both the headphones and the charger.

2. Check the wall charger and cable

Make sure the wall charger and cable you’re using work with other devices.

3. Reset Space Q45

Reset Space Q45 by holding the power button and Volume+ for 5 seconds.

When your headphones run out of battery quicker than expected, make sure they are fully charged before performing a battery test. After fully charging Space Q45, test the playtime again at 60% volume.

You may encounter this issue when you leave the headphones on when you’re not using them, listening to music at a high volume, pairing them with multiple devices simultaneously, or using noise canceling. You may also get this issue if the headphones are not charged properly.

We recommend you test the playtime again but at 60% volume.

Why the Soundcore app asks for location access?

The app doesn’t require location access under normal circumstances. If the current connection is not successful, the phone will search for the headphones using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). To enable Bluetooth BLE connection, location permission is required by the Google Android system.

When the app asks for location access, please close the app and try to pair again if you do not wish to share your location.

If Space Q45 fails to pair with your devices and has issues such as failing to reconnect with your device, or your phone cannot detect Space Q45 on the Bluetooth list, then these tips should help you resolve these issues.

Restart the Bluetooth device first, forget all the pairing records, and turn off Bluetooth.

2. Reset Space Q45
Hold the Power and Volume+ buttons down for 5 seconds to reset Space Q45. The indicator will flash red 3 times, which means that the reset was successful. If the indicator doesn’t do this, try resetting it again.

3. Pair the headphones to your device
Turn on your device’s Bluetooth, search for soundcore Space Q45, and pair.

4. Test your Space Q45 with a different Bluetooth device
Try connecting the headphones to another device to see if the issue still persists.

2. Custom Noise Cancelling: Manually choose from 5 levels of noise reduction. Higher noise reduction levels mean that more low-frequency noises are blocked out.
