INSTALLATION

Important:
There must be a minimum distance of 100 mm between the edges of the cut hole in the bench top and the adjoining cabinet walls and 65mm from the rear wall of the cabinet.

Preparation

  • Remove any dust from the benchtop directly surrounding the cut hole to ensure there is a clean surface.
  • Remove the protective paper film from the adhesive strip that is secured to the bottom of the glass surface.
  • Position the cooktop into the hole in the benchtop and press down firmly to ensure a secure fit to the benchtop.

OPERATION

Choice of cookware
Choose a pan with a diameter that is at least as large as the heating zone. For roasting tins, there is a special widened heating zone of 140×250. Do not use pans with a concave or convex base.
Always remember to put a proper cover on the pan. We recommend the use of pans with thick, even bases.
If the heating zones and pans are solid it is impossible to make full use of the heat.

Heat level selection

Display Description Explanation
Control key for the corresponding heating element By pressing any of the 2

Control Keys, the corresponding hotplate is selected for
operation. The respective LED Display for that hotplate will flash for 6 Seconds on setting
9(continues operation) and the hotplate will activate after the display stops flashing.
Pressing the corresponding Control Key twice in succession will terminate hotplate operation.
| Plus and minus key of Hot plate level or timer| In conjunction with the Control Keys and within the 6 seconds LED flash period, a chosen hotplate heating level will increase from setting 0 to 9 by pressing the – or + selector key.
When it is a timer, it’s will increase or reduce.
| Residual heat indicator| With the hotplate operation terminated, this symbol will show in the LED Display for the
corresponding hotplate when this area is still hot and will disappear when an area has cooled down enough to touch.
| Timer| For a chosen hot plate with LED lighting, press the Timer key, and the Timer of the LED for this plate will twinkle. By pressing – or +, time will be changed.
| Child Lock Key| Press the Child Lock Key for 3 Seconds to deactivate the Child Lock and allow the use of the
Control Keys to operate hotplates.
| Power ON/OFF key| After connecting to the power, press the key, the hob is ready, you can select the zone that you want.

MAINTENANCE&TROUBLESHOOTING

Caution!
Before maintenance or cleaning is carried out, the cooktop should be disconnected from the main power supply. Ensure that the cooktop is switched off at the wall socket and the plug removed.

  1. Spills and splashes will not harden and stick to the glass, as it hardly heats up.
  2. Micro crystal board surrounding should maintain clean, if have leakage to it as soon as possible please clean.
  3. Slight stains can be removed with kitchen paper or cloth.
  4. More resistant stains will need specific products for vitro-ceramic glass.
    Follow each product’s inductions.

Important!

  1. Do not use abrasive products or cleaning powders as these could scratch the hob.
  2. Do not use a steam cleaner.
  3. If any cracks should appear on the surface of the glass, unplug the appliance immediately.
  4. Do not use any part of the hob until a new vitro-ceramic glass has been installed.
