Ensure that you have gathered all the required materials that are needed for the installation.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

WARNING: Be sure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off?, either the fuse is removed or the circuit breaker is shut off. You don’t need special tools to install this Be sure to follow the steps in the order given. Under no circumstances should a fixture be hung on house electrical wires, nor should a swag-type fixture be installed on a ceiling that contains a radiant-type heating system. Read instructions carefully, if you are unclear as to how to proceed, consult a qualified electrician.

ARE INSTRUCTIONS
To clean, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

INSTALLATION (FIG. 1)

Determine the desired location for installing
ace backplate (A) against the wall at the desired position. The hook on the backplate (A) should be pointing up. Ensure backplate (A) is level. Mark on the wall the location of each hole in the backplate (A). Place backplate (A) aside.
Using a drill bit the appropriate size for wall anchor (B), drill holes in the wall at each marked location
Carefully tap one wall anchor (B) into each hole in the wall. Place backplate (A) on the wall. Align holes in backplate (A) with wall anchors. Thread one wall screw (C) into each hole in backplate (A) and into wall anchors (B). Tighten wall screws (C) to secure backplate (A) to the wall.
INSTALLATION (FIG. 2)
Lower shade (D) down over fixture body (E). Place the bracket on top of shade (D) onto the bracket on the fixture body (E).
Align holes in the bracket on shade (D) with holes on the fixture body (E). Screw one thumbscrew (F) into each hole in the bracket on the shade and into holes in the bracket on the fixture body (E). Tighten thumbscrews (F) to secure shade (D) in place. DO NOT over-tighten.
INSTALLATION (FIG. 3)
Wrap cord around a hook on the backplate (A). Ensure the plug will reach the wall outlet screw recommended bulb (E26 Edison bulb type, not included) into the socket. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of texture.
WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
Insert the plug into an electrical outlet.
