PLEASE READ AND SAVE THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
When using the appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed, including:

  1. Do not plug and unplug the machine with wet hands.
  2. Remove and safely discard any packaging material and labels before using this product for the first time. Ensure children and babies do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials.
  3. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the ice maker corresponds with the voltage in your home.
  4. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner, take it to the store where the unit was purchased or call Lenoxx customer service for further assistance on 1300 666 848.
  5. Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet when it is not in use, before putting or taking parts off and before cleaning.
  6. Do not let the cord hang off the edge of a bench or table or touch a hot surface.
  7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
  9. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  10. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farmhouses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type environments; bed and breakfast-type environments.
  11. Do not use the ice maker for other than for its intended purpose.
  12. The ice maker is to be used on a level, horizontal and stable surface.
  13. Do not position this appliance on an incline over 45 degrees.
  14. Do not put the ice maker upside down as this may damage the compressor and sealed system.
  15. For proper ventilation, keep 15 cm clearance around the ice maker on each side, the rear and the top.
  16. Do not use the ice maker close to open flames, hot plates or stoves.
  17. Do not immerse the ice maker in water.
  18. Fill with drinking water only.
  19. Before use, ensure the drain cap is screwed correctly.
  20. Use the machine in a well-ventilated area with an ambient temperature between 10°C and 38°C.
  21. Although the machine has been tested and cleaned at the factory, due to long-term transportation and storage, please discard the ice cubes made in the first 4 cycles.
  22. If the machine has not been used for a long time, please clean it thoroughly before use. Please follow the instructions provided to clean and disinfect. Do not leave any solution after cleaning.
  23. It is forbidden to store explosives such as gasoline, combustion supporting sprays or other flammable gases or liquids in this appliance

BEFORE FIRST USE

UNPACKING AND CHECKING THE PRODUCT:

  1. Remove the product and accessories carefully from their original packaging.
  2. Check whether the contents of the packaging are complete and not damaged. If the contents of the packing are incomplete or if damage is detected, please contact our customer service on 1300 666 848.
  3. Choking hazard! Keep packaging materials out of reach of young children and dispose of packaging materials.

The ice maker should be placed on a level, horizontal and stable surface. To ensure proper ventilation for your ice maker allow 150mm of space at the top, the back and on each side. Do not install the ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat source.

Before using the ice maker for the first time, please wait 24 hours after positioning it to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Tips: For better ice-making, keep the machine out of the sunlight. To ensure long-term use of the machine, use filtered or purified water; or use citric acid every 1-2 weeks to clean the outside of the machine and the dust deposits on the bottom of the water tank.

OPERATION

When using the machine for the first time, after a long break, we recommend you to discard the ice cubes made in the first 4 cycles to ensure that the machine is thoroughly cleaned.

  1. Open the front cover, take out the ice basket, and fill the water tank with drinking water. Do not exceed the highest mark of the water level.
  2. Put the ice basket back and make sure the water level is below the bottom of the ice basket. Close the front cover.
  3. Connect the ice maker to power.
  4.  Press the button, the “ ” indicator light will be on continuously, when the light stops flashing, the machine will start working.
  5. Press the button to select the desired size of the ice (big size is the default).

Tips: When the ice box is full, the ice full indicator on the display panel will light up (red), and the machine will stop working automatically.
When the ice is removed, the machine will continue to work.
If water is insufficient, the add water indicator will light up (red) and the ice maker will stop working. After refilling, press the to reboot.
If an error occurs, the ice full and add water indicator lights will flash simultaneously, and the ice maker will stop working. Please refer to the Troubleshooting page.

When the ice maker is not in use, please turn it off. If the ice maker needs to be operated again after being unplugged, please wait for at least 5 minutes to protect the compressor.

SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION

The machine has a self-cleaning function. In standby mode, press and hold the “ ” button for 3 seconds, the machine will beep and enter self-clean mode. The S & L indicators will flash alternately. The cleaning program will run for about 20 minutes.

ICE STORAGE CAPACITY

When the ice basket is full, the machine will stop automatically and stand by. The ice maker can partially block heat and store ice temporarily, but cannot be used as a freezer. Please remove ice cubes as needed and add water to ensure the machine works without disruptions.

SOUND DURING MACHINE OPERATION

The new ice maker may make unfamiliar sounds. Most sounds are normal, for example:

  • Efficient compressors emit beating or sharp sounds.
  • Water splashes from the evaporator to the tank.
  • At the end of each cycle, you can hear the gurgling of refrigerant flow.
  • The sound of air compressed by the condenser.
  • In the final de-icing cycle, you may hear ice falling into the box.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Regular cleaning and correct maintenance will ensure the working efficiency and performance of the ice maker.

  • Unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes before cleaning.
  • Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents, which may damage the machine.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Simply wipe the outside of the machine with a soft, wet cloth.
  • Dry the inside and the outside of the machine with a soft and clean cloth.
  • Check regularly whether the drain plug is loose to prevent leakage.

Clean after first use or long-term storage:

  • Disinfection solution: water and vinegar or citric acid (ratio: 10:1)
  • Wipe the interior with a solution, including the evaporator (icing column)
  • Add ice-making water, run the ice maker and discard the ice cubes produced in the first four cycles. Then remove the remaining water from the drain and reinstall the drain plug to ensure that the plug is in place.

STORAGE

If the ice maker is not used for a long time, unplug it and remove the remaining water from the drainage outlet. Dry the interior with a clean soft cloth (refer to maintenance and cleaning).
