SCS Sentinel SAL0059 Wireless Smart Alarm Kit
SAFETY WARNING
This manual is an important part of your product. These instructions are
designed to ensure your safety. Please read them carefully before use and keep
them in a safe place for future consultation. Select a suitable location. Sure
that nothing will block the screws and anchors being inserted in the wall. Do
not connect it to the power supply until you have finished installing and
checking it. A qualified, specialised professional must perform the set-up,
configuration and electrical connection in accordance with industry standards.
The power supply unit must be set up in a dry location. This product must only
be used for its intended purpose.
This product only operates with the iSCS Sentinel application. The application
is free to download from the PlayStore and AppStore. The application may
require updates, including to fix bugs, improve features and improve the user
experience. You can activate or deactivate the automatic iSCS Sentinel
application updates in the PlayStore or AppStore settings. Information about
the reason for the update, its impact on performance, changes to the product
or application’s features, and the storage space used is provided for each
update on the PlayStore and AppStore.
In accordance with legal warranties and regulations, the application’s
availability and updates are guaranteed for a period of two years.
This manual may be amended as the application is updated. To ensure you have
the latest version, we recommend you download it from our website www.scs-
sentinel.com

FEATURES AND INSTALLATION
C1 – Alann control unit and keypad
Installation
- Optionat. Insert the SIM card (not included) in the alarm control unit before turning the power on ( ensure the SIM card works without a PIN code. You can deactivate the PIN code by inserting the SIM card in a mobile phone).
- Connect the alarm control unit to the power supply using the adaptor provided.
- Press the ON/OFF button.
- Screw the wall mount onto the wall, then clip the alarm control unit to the mount.
WARNING: A Some materials may reduce the Wi-Fi signal’s reach. You may need to move the control unit and accessories to L ! 1 obtain a better signal.

Operation
You can arm, disarm and switch between security modes using:
4 modes are available:
- D Armed: Activate the alarm control unit when you leave the house. All sensors are activated. They immediately trigger the alarm.
- D Disarmed: Deactivate the alarm control unit when you enter the house. All sensors are deactivated and you can freely
- G.)Partial: ProtectJ)art of the house while _you a_re in it. All partial mode sensors are deactivated and you can freely move around the house. The other sensors remain activated.
- 24 hr: The alarm control unit remains activated in the motion or door/window sensor zone. The sensors are immediately triggered by motion or opening.
Alarm control unit features
Saved numbers:
Telephone numbers must be saved using the application.
The default passcode is 1 2 3 4.
We strongly recommend changing it using the iSCS Sentinel application.
Status of lights
C2 – Remote control
C3 – Door/Window sensor
The door/window sensor can be installed inside the house on doors, windows or
anything else that opens and closes. The sensor sends a signal to the alarm
control unit when the sensor’s magnet is more than 2 cm away.
Installation

Remove the battery pull tab.

The sensor can be installed on a door or window.
Its location must enable the sensor to be properly attached. -
Affix the transmitter to the doorframe and the magnet to the door, keeping a maximum 1 cm gap between the two.
WARNING: Avoid attaching sensors to locations where metal and electrical wires are found.
The light flashes once: The door or window is open.The transmitter sends
a signal to the alarm control unit.
The light flashes once every 3 seconds: Low battery.
WARNING: If an intruder tries to move the sensor, the alarm control unit will trigger and send an alarm notification to the user.
C4 – Motion sensor
The infrared sensor is designed to detect the presence of someone inside a
room.
Test
Installation
Avoid installing the sensor near areas where the temperature changes rapidly
or there are frequent air currents
- Attach the wall mount with the screws provided the minimum height of 2 metres. We recommend installing it in a corner of the room and not opposite a window.
- Install the sensor on the mount.
- Test mode: after switching on, walk through the detection area. The LED flashes. This indicates that a movement has been detected. Walk through the area 5 times. The interval between each detection must be longer than 2 seconds. The detector then switches to standby mode.
- Sleep mode: The sensor detects motion continuously, but only triggers the alarm on the first two detections. This saves the batteries.
CS – Wired indoor siren
- Unscrew the screw at the top of the unit.
- Mount the back of the unit,00 the wall in the desired location.
- connect the wires to the terminals of the alarm control unit.
- Close the unit and screw the screw back in.
CONFIGURING THE APPLICATION
D1 – Installing the app
iSCS Sentinel app
To download the app, go to AppStore or Play Store on your smartphone. Search
for ‘iSCS Sentinel’, then click ‘Install’.
- Once the app has downloaded, open it and click ‘Create my account’.
- Enter your email address and password in the relevant fields.
- Click ‘NEXT.
- Enter the validation code you received by email. Then confirm the account.
- Click ‘ALLOW.
- Enter all the information requested to create your home.
Then click ‘FINISH’.
D2 – Adding a product
Turn the alarm control unit on and place it near a Wi-Fi router.
Your smartphone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the control
unit and you must have your phone’s location enabled.
WARNING: Some materials may reduce the Wi-Fi signal’s reach.
- Click PLUS , then ‘NEW DEVICE’ to add the product.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and scan the product’s QR code or enter the code manually.
- Turn the alarm control unit on and wait until the Wi-Fi flashes.
- If it dies not flash, press and hold for 5 seconds.
- Name the control unit and room in which it is located.
- Add a profile photo using your smartphone camera, your photo gallery or a default image (product image).
- To see how to install accessories and test them, click on the accessories and follow the app’s instructions.
- Name the accessory and click ‘NEXT.
- The accessory is now saved.
- You can add, modify and delete accessories from the main screen by clicking ‘my accessories’.
Troubleshooting
WARNING: If the device fails to connect to Wi-Fi, an error page is displayed.
- Check these five points.
- Use ‘EZ Pairing’.
- Check the details and click ‘next’.
- Turn the alarm control unit on and wait until the Wi-Fi symbol flashes. If it d!ies not flash, press and hold for 5 seconds.
- Loading begins and the three steps are completed.
This will take you back to steps 6 and 7 to change the profile photo.

Settings
Click a to access the product settings.
Telephone
- Click ‘Telephone numbers called’
- Click ‘Control unit telephone number’
- Enter the number on the SIM card inserted in the alarm control unit
- Click ‘Keypad passcode and SMS’
- The default passcode is 1 2 3 4. It enables you to switch between modes using the control unit or SMS.
- You can modify other settings using the app: Siren,delay, etc.

Add guest users
WARNING: Using the iSCS Sentinel app, guest users can activate/deactivate devices but not change the settings.
Controlling with voice assistants
Before starting, ensure the device is connected to the iSCS Sentinel app, and
the voice assistant is connected to the internet and working properly (ask it
a question to check).
Google Assistant
- Open the Google Home app
- Click + then ‘Configure a device/works with Google’ and select iSCS Sentinel.
- Enter the login details used to log into the iSCS Sentinel app.
The voice assistant will search for available devices and display a list in the Google Home app. If that does not work, tell your voice assistant: “Okay Google, synchronise devices.
Alexa
- Open the Alexa app
- Select ‘Skills’ then select iSCS Sentinel
- Enter the login details used to log into the iSCS Sentinel app.
The voice assistant will search for available devices and display a list in the Alexa app.
Reset
To completely remove the device, you must delete it in the app.
GSM NETWORK
sMS
If the Wi-Fi or internet is not working, the GSM network takes over. It is
easy to manage the alarm’s setting with a smartphone by sending an SMS with
the commands below:
Default passcode: 123 4
Calls
When triggered, the alarm system calls the preset telephone number.
The user can answer the call, listen, and control the system remotely by
pressing the following numbers:

Keep the barcode in a safe place, along with your proof of purchase.If you claim under the warranty, you will be asked for these. It is essential to keep your proof of purchase throughout the warranty period.
Not covered by the warranty:
- Material and electrical damage resulting from incorrect installation.
- Damage resulting from improper use (meaning not its intended purpose) or modifications.
- Damage resulting from the use and/or installation of parts not included or recommended by SCS Sentinel.
- Damage due to a lack of maintenance or an impact.
- Damage resulting from poor weather, such as hail, lightning or strong winds.
- Returns without a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase.
WARNINGS
- Keep the device away from naked flames such as burning candles.
- The products normal operation may be disrupted by strong electromagnetic interference.
- This equipment is intended for private use only.
- The device must not be exposed to splashes or drops of water. No liquid-filled objects, such as vases, should be placed on the device.
- All parts of the system must be used indoors.
- Connect all the parts together before turning the power on.
- Only connect your device to the power using the supplied adapter.
- Handle the product parts carefully as they are electronic.
- When installing your product, do not leave packaging within reach of children or animals. It may pose a danger to them.
- This product is not a toy. It has not been designed for use by children.
- Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.
- When replacing batteries, use batteries with the same characteristics as the ones supplied with the product.
- If the devices are not being used for a prolonged period of time, remove the batteries unless the system is intended for emergency situations.
- Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat or throw them in a fire.
This product contains a button cell battery. Do not swallow the battery (risk
of chemical burns). If swallowed, the button cell battery can cause severe
internal burns in only 2 hours and may cause death. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it out of
the reach of children. If you suspect a battery or other part has been
swallowed or inserted into a body part, immediately seek medical advice.
- Before performing any maintenance, disconnect your devices from the power supply. Do not clean the product with solvents or abrasive/corrosive substances. Simply use a soft cloth. Do not spray anything on the product.
- Ensure your product is well-maintained and frequently check the system to spot any signs of wear and tear. Do not use the device if it requires repairs or tuning. Contact a qualified professional.
