To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning and fires, follow these guidelines:

• Point the exhaust away from all homes and occupied spaces.
• Install carbon monoxide alarms inside your home.
• Keep the log splitter at least 5 ft. (1.5 m) away from any structure, trees, or vegetation over 12 in. (30 cm) in height.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that you have read and understood the user manual before operating the log splitter.
2. Before starting the log splitter, check the engine oil, fuel, and hydraulic oil levels to ensure they are at the recommended levels.
3. Locate the control valve handle and familiarize yourself with its operation.
4. Position the log splitter outdoors and downwind, at least 20 ft. (6.0 m) away from any home.
5. Ensure that the exhaust is pointed away from all homes and occupied spaces.
6. Install carbon monoxide alarms inside your home to detect any potential carbon monoxide gas.
7. Maintain a minimum distance of 5 ft. (1.5 m) between the log splitter and any structure, trees, or vegetation over 12 in. (30 cm) in height.
8. To start the log splitter, follow these steps:
