Product Usage Instructions

Setting up Google Assistant

1. Connect your headphones to your mobile device.
2. Set up Google Assistant using your mobile device:
   • On your Android device, press and hold the home button to open Google Assistant.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
3. Note: Google Assistant setup is only available on Android devices.

Using Google Assistant
To use Google Assistant with the headphones, follow the instructions below:

• Talk to Google Assistant:
  • Tap and hold the voice button on the headphones while talking.
  • Release the button to trigger Google Assistant.
• Get your notifications:
  • Stop talking and hold the voice button for 2 seconds without speaking.
  • Release the button to stop Google Assistant.
• Reply to a message (where available):
  • Tap the voice button once after receiving a message notification.
  • Hold the voice button to respond to the message.
  • Release the button when finished.

Note:

1. Google, Android, and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC.
2. Google Assistant may not be available in certain languages and countries.
3. To turn on or off Google Assistant, users can download the JBL Headphones app and select the option under Settings > Voice assistant.

GOOGLE ASSISTANT

To set up Google Assistant

1. Connect your headphones to your mobile device
2.  Set up Google Assistant using your mobile device*:
   On your Android™ device, press and hold the home button to open Google Assistant and follow the on-screen instructions.

• Only available on Android.

NOTE:
Google Assistant is available on eligible Android 6.0 devices or later.
Works on Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat Android Phones with Google Play Services, >1.5GB of memory and 720p or higher screen resolution. For more information on what Google Assistant can do, visit: assistant.google.com/platforms/headphones

To use Google Assistant

release the button to trigger.
Requires pairing with eligible phone and internet connection. For examples of questions and things you can do, visit: https://assistant.google.com/platforms/headphones
Get your notifications| Hold the voice button for 2 seconds without talking, then release the button.
Stop Google Assistant| Tap the voice button once.
Reply to a message (where available)| After receiving a message notification, tap and hold the voice button to respond. When you’re done, release the button.

AMAZON ALEXA

1. Connect your headphones to your mobile device.

2. On your mobile device, open or download the Amazon Alexa app and follow the app instructions.

3.  In the Amazon Alexa app, navigate to the Device Page.
   

4. Click the Plus (+) button on the top right of the screen and select ‘Add Device’.

5. Select Headphones from the list and then choose your Headphones in the Available Devices section. Follow the rest of the instructions in the Alexa app to complete set up.

6. Alexa setup has been completed for your device. Tap and hold the action button and try one of the below utterances:

Note : Amazon Music is set as the default music service, to change the default music service, use the Alexa app.
Voice control your smart home devices| “Turn on the lights.”
Discover more skills| “What new skills do you have?”
Stop Alexa| While Alexa is talking, say “stop” while tapping and holding the action button, then release the button.

NOTE:

1. Android™ 6.0 or higher is required for full access to Alexa features when using this device.
2. To turn on or off the Amazon Alexa, please download our JBL Headphones. You can select under Settings > Voice assistant > Amazon Alexa.
3. Alexa is not available in all languages and countries. Alexa features and functionality may vary by location.
